We especially enjoyed the delicious food at the on-site restaurant and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back!”

My advice, do not stay here in July. The hotel allows the nearby teenage english students to stay, and they cause a lot of chaos and are unsupervised most of the time. (I am a teacher, little discipline) Unfortunately, this makes it feel more like a youth hostel, than a hotel. Second, is the noise, lots of construction work up until 10pm and some all night long, lucky the room's AC is so loud but without it you can't sleep. Third, be prepared for every single time you walk down into the lobby, sales people will pounce on you trying to sell condos. There should be no sales people within the hotel at all! The pool and beach are amazing and the customer service is very good, but not as good as Boracay. But, at times the atmosphere is rowdy and not peaceful. Lastly, the stock of the pool bar and beach bar is pretty poor, never has what you actually want, and it is overpriced. (food and drink) Would I stay again? No. Is it value for money? I guess so. I would pay a bit more to stay in a better resort closer to the beach.

My stay at Solea Palm Hotel was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond, making me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully designed, and the amenities, including the pool,breakfast,were top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a truly memorable experience.

It was indeed a great and wonderful stay at Solea Seaview Resort. My husband really enjoyed and loved the food plus the fascinating ambiance from our room seeing the pool and the beach. Very relaxing sitting in the balcony watching both sunrise and sunset. Moreover, it was amazing to see those waiter and waitress who will perform whenever there’ll be a birthday celebration. The downside was that, it was far from the mall plus the traffic and with the amenities, I wish there will be a hair dryer. Overall, it was really a great and unforgettable experience staying at Solea for 13 nights ❤️

We had an awesome stay with the hotel. My kids enjoyed the water park! We also got a free room upgrade which is awesome!

Overall, our stay was great. The room was clean and conveniently located near all the places we wanted to visit, such as Mactan Shrine, Cebu Yacht Club, and more. We’ll definitely come back again or perhaps try Belmont Hotel, since it’s a sister company. Thank you, Savoy Hotel Newtown, for the wonderful 5-night stay!

I was truly impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff—from the concierge and reception team to the kitchen' staff, housekeeping, public area staff, and security. What made my stay even more special was how they accommodated my request for a high-floor room with a stunning partial ocean view. The room was impeccably clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful details, from the plush pillows that ensured a great night's sleep to the automatic AC adjustment when the sliding door was opened. Breakfast was another highlight, and I must give special praise to the pastry chef—the croissants were exceptional, even better than those from some renowned pastry shops. Extra credit to the chef for such a delightful treat! Overall, my experience at The Reef was truly memorable, and I’ll cherish the wonderful moments it provided.

The hotel is getting a bit old and tired but on the whole it was a pleasant stay and at a good price. The room is nice and spacious. The hotel is running on skeleton staff so the serice could have been better but everyone was very polite and obliging. Tamiya shopping centre is a 10 minute walk and has a great selection of shops and food options,

Lovely hotel, nice room that was very clean (added bonus for the washing machine in the room!!) Hotel amenities were ok, but not much going on- if your thinking of swimming with whale sharks be prepared for the 4hr drive (well worth it tho, it was incredible!) Food in the hotel was extremely over priced for what it was!Our breakfast was included with our stay, but if it was not good, especially if you were paying the £17 (GBP). There was very little choice, the food displays were always empty and breakfast is advertised as open till 10 but at 9:45 the staff had cleared away the food after helping themselves to the “leftovers” that customers were still paying for!! Beach was nice and pools were very well kept! The staff were super friendly and willing to help- cannot fault the service! The hotel has its own private beach and water sports area which was lovely, however be super careful when swimming in the sea as there’s lots of sea urchins close to the shore! (Maybe the hotel could put warning signs up about this could be very dangerous if not expected?) Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay, but probably wouldn’t come back. The hotel has so much potential but deffo needs work in some areas💕

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at BE Resorts Mactan. The location is great, the staff were courteous, and the ambiance was relaxing. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved: 1. Kids' Breakfast Policy Children under 10 typically don’t consume much during breakfast, so it might be worth considering raising the age threshold for free breakfast. Allowing kids 10 and below to eat free could significantly enhance the satisfaction of families staying at the resort. 2. Beach Cleanliness and Comfort We noticed that the seashore tends to get quite dirty in the mornings. It would be great if a few staff could be assigned to clean up the area early in the day so guests can enjoy the beach without discomfort. Also, adding shaded areas near the sea benches would be a thoughtful touch, especially for parents supervising their kids, as it can get very hot under the sun. 3. Gym We also spent time in the gym, and we noticed that the billiard table didn’t have any chalk available, this was also the case during our previous visit last December. It’s a small item, but having it readily available makes a big difference for guests who enjoy playing. We hope these suggestions help enhance the guest experience even further. We still look forward to visiting again!
