The hospitality and kindness of the staff at Sun Valley Resort were exceptional, making the stay truly memorable. The rooms were spotless and maintained with the utmost hygiene, and the food was delicious, offering a variety of flavors to savor. The scenic morning view from the resort was breathtaking, adding a serene start to each day. What stood out was the care provided for the driver, ensuring a comfortable stay and meals, reflecting their outstanding service and attention to every detail

I visited in non peak time in Dec. Luxurious and clean room with two double beds. Really comfortable beds. The views in morning overlooking the tea estates were delightful. My kid thoroughly enjoy led kids playroom :). The staff were were very polite and accomodating. I am vegetarian and the the see though kitchen gives confidence in seperation of veg and non-veg meal preparation. The place is like a mini resort. If you are planning a Trip with family, I'll say stay at this place. Take toy train from Mettupalayam and come to coonoor as it's more scenic than coonoor to ooty.

We were on a group trip recently and stayed at Sunvalley for a night. It was a great experience overall. We enjoyed every aspect of the stay including the well appointed rooms, the views , views, open areas for camp fire and food . A special word about the staff - they were all so friendly and always ready to help. The only challenge is the last 500m of approach road which would test one’s driving skills to the fullest. Here again, the resort is proactive in informing you about this and they also send their own person to pick us up if not comfortable driving on that stretch. Last but not the least, the trip was extra special for me Thanks to Alex, the in-house super friendly pet.

A great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the rooms and the outside areas are kept well. The balconies were micro sized but had the view of the tea Eastate that feels heavenly. The food was something to speak about. Very homely and well cooked. And, you have about 2 kilometers of walk through the tea plantations in the back yard. The only draw-back is the last 500 meters of travel before reaching the Homestay, which goes through very narrow and not so good roads.

1. Check-In Process The check-in process was quick and seamless. Upon arrival, the staff promptly assisted with transporting our luggage to the room. We were especially impressed by their attentiveness—they called ahead to provide detailed directions to the resort, as Google Maps occasionally suggests confusing routes. 2. Location & Surroundings The resort is situated in a picturesque location, offering stunning scenic views from the rooms. It truly feels like you're staying next to a tea estate. The resort is also conveniently located, allowing guests to take a pleasant walk to the tea estate that's directly linked to the property. 3. Accommodation Our room was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The addition of a hot water kettle was especially helpful when traveling with kids. 4. Facilities & Services The resort is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained, with thoughtful touches such as strategically placed plants and swings in various areas. The staff was consistently courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The resort also offers excellent facilities for children, with separate play areas for small kids and teenagers. We particularly enjoyed the teenage room, which featured a carom board, an Xbox (paid), Ludo, and foosball—my son had a great time there in the evenings. 5. Customer Service & Staff The staff was exceptional from start to finish, providing warm and attentive service that made us feel truly at home. Their hospitality was a standout feature of our stay. 6. Food & Dining The food quality and taste were outstanding. The resort provides a personal touch, especially during breakfast, where the staff serves you with care and encourages you to enjoy more. Since the restaurant is not very large, the staff ensures that we place our orders ahead of time to avoid any delays, ensuring a smooth and satisfying dining experience. 7. Resort Ambience & Design The resort has a cozy, homely feel that makes it a perfect place for relaxation. It's beautifully decorated, with an array of well-placed plants, swings, and other charming details. The view from the rooms is breathtaking, and the ability to walk directly to the nearby tea estate was an added bonus. 8. General Experience & Suggestions for Improvement Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay at this resort and would love to return. We enjoyed the location, the comfort of the accommodations, the quality of food, and the overall ambiance. However, I have a few suggestions that could enhance the experience even further: A. Signage: Once you’re close to the resort, it would be helpful to have more signs ***** the route to guide guests to the property. Even though the hotel staff called us with directions, we did make one small mistake on the way, but they were quick to assist. B. Rain Protection: Given the frequent rainfall in Coonoor, it would be beneficial to have umbrellas or cov

The stay was amazing, we had amazing time with our family there. The view from the room was extraordinary. Beautiful sunrise and tea plantation view. The room was very very clean and the service was awesome. All the staff were very kind and humble. Food was very hygiene and delicious 100/100 points
