Days Inn by Wyndham Conover-Hickory

Took the kids down to see a race at Hickory Speedway. Booked the room at one of the closest hotels. We walked in the first non-smoking room and it smelled like cigarettes. The person at the desk was very accommodating and switched us to a new room. The new room was filthy with black mold in the air conditioning. I never leave reviews

It was ok Probably won’t be back! It was semi clean. Shower water temp would change on its on from warm to scalding. Their free breakfast some store bought donuts in a pkg, everything microwave cooked.. had toast & coffee.

Our experience at this hotel was nothing less than terrible. When we checked in, the front desk lady was kind. Probably 1 of few people we came in contact with that was actually kind to us. We got to our room and quickly noticed there were multiple broken items in the room. A terrible smell coming from the room. A missing drawer on the nightstand. Busted up air conditioner, it still worked but was missing most of the guard on it. The tv remote had only 3 buttons that actually worked. Only 2 out of 6 electrical outlets in the room worked. There were dirty washrags remaining in the shower from the previous guests. The workers came soon after to let us know that the water from the shower was “leaking through the floor into their office,”and to “be careful.” After that experience, we went to talk to someone to see if we needed to change rooms so they could work on the issue with the shower and some random guy explains to us that the issue is that the worker who came to our room doesn't like guests and causes issues with people. And then proceeds to tell us that the room under ours is his own personal hotel room and not just the office. We go back to the same room because frankly, what in the actual??? Next morning, my boyfriend tries to go to breakfast and they tell him its only open from 6 am- 7am instead of what was posted on their website and what the front desk lady told us originally. Overall, the experience was not pleasant at all and I would never stay with them twice.

It smelled like pot, the bathroom walls were crumbling and had bugs crawling over them. It was one of the roughest motel situations I have encountered. We left that night within 20 minutes after we decided we would not stay here.

Room not like pictures, needs updates badly. Alot of damage to walls ,rug , furniture really dated. Was placed in section for locals that live there. Door didn't lock or hang right. Front desk told me they will move me to better room never happened Shower leaks the whole time Room very musky just bad Ppl knocking on door thru night

They had bug the room smelled the staff chared me extra deposits and they were rude.
