The hotel is beautiful, but leaves much to be desired. I have traveled to over 10 hotels in PR, around the States, and abroad, and I have never had these many issues in a single room/stay. In the room, the bathroom doors were broken and didn’t close properly, which means the light from the bathroom got into the room. On lighting, lights in both the room and the bathroom were not properly configured, so none of the settings made sense, and in the room, the only way to try to get complete darkness (with the exception of the light coming from the bathroom) was by disconnecting the lamps. Back to the bathroom, the strip from the shower drain was not installed, just off to the side against the shower wall. The rain shower also seems to need cleaning as the water was spraying in all directions - including the top of the wall, which was already causing damage to the wall. The lotion in the bathroom was used, so it seems to have been left from another guest. If you’re planning on using the tv, be advised that the smart tv option doesn’t work, and it only connects to about 3 channels, which don’t even include WAPA (local news). While trying to adjust the tv, I noticed it was full of dust, so it is evident that nobody cleans behind the tv. There was also a letter in the room addressed to another guest, which, combined with all other details, makes me wonder if the room was even cleaned before we arrived. Finally, when I tried to call the front desk from the room, the phone wasn’t working, and my keycard stopped working before check out. At the end of the day, I expected way more for a hotel of this price range, as I have had better experiences at much cheaper hotels. Shout out to Natasha from the front desk and Key from the rooftop dining, who were extremely kind and saved the trip from being an absolute disaster.
