One&Only Mandarina

Such a wonderful restaurant and a definite must if you happen to stay at One & Only resort or Rosewood Mandarina! I've been to arguably the best restaurant in Mexico- Pujol (Mexico City) and this place is on that level! Chef Enrique Olvera should be proud! Place has open kitchen and woodsy om the hill aestethics and ambiance. Service top notch. Food was simply amazing but my favorite was the fish chorizo! Delicious! I went to continue the celebration of my birthday and was well satisfied. I can't wait to return!

My husband and I spent three days here and it was a magical stay. The service is excellent, everyone goes out of their way to ensure that you are having a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful, the property is immaculate. There’s a reason this property is one of the top 50 in the world. Our room was stunning. We were perched on the cliff side overlooking the ocean. The views were unbelievable and we really enjoyed our own private plunge pool. Our butler and drivers were all excellent. Special shout out to Julio and Guillermo, and many other others who made our stay so special. We did zip lining, had massages at the spa (amazing!!), visited the horses at the stable, and relaxed beach side. Everything was perfect! Thank you for making our trip so wonderful, and all the attention and detail that goes into keeping the property so beautiful. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing grounds and amenities. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff throughout the entire property. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived until we departed.

Fantastic overall stay Nov 4-8 in Treehouse 116. Villa was perfect, very clean, and service was maybe the best we've had anywhere we've ever visited! Loved a dip in the our private pool and tea on the deck each morning, and easily connected phone/Spotify to Bose soundbar for music (you won't need to bring a speaker which we usually do). Housekeeping kept the place pristine! Definitely take advantage of the spa, even if you don't go for a treatment - the steam, sauna and cold plunge were great - and there's a jacuzzi pool and mud treatment which my wife tried but I didn't get to. Golf was very fun, if that's in your plan. A short par 3 that you can do in about 1.5 hrs. The jetty beach is smaller than the Rosewood, but actually we found to be much more enjoyable - a little smaller, more protected and taking out an included paddle board or kayak was a great way to get out on the water without feeling exposed to the full ocean. Water was crystal clear and warm! And unlike Cancun (or the Rosewood which had a couple of small boutiqes), there's not a lot of salesy places, just one shop at Alma if needed. We did enjoy breakfast at Alma, and the pools at the deck and Treetop Bar are a must. A couple of mentions just to keep in mind. In our case, Villa 115 was a little higher and looked down on 116, so just a little less than private, however the whole resort is private and quiet and most bars will close around 11. We brought adult bevvies to have in the room after stuff closed. You'll get used to getting buggies to move around (instead of walking) but you can find places to walk - it's 40 minutes to Canalan beach club at the Rosewood via the jungle patch between resorts. The drinks and food are expensive, it's the reviews I read were very true - you'll easily spend $500 per day on food and drinks - the drinks were good but the food was just ok in my opinion.

Amazing staff, food, and location. The property is stunning and my favorite resort I have stayed in. They have a variety of classes and activities to choose from. You do not need to leave the resort to find entertainment.

Review is based on comparing to other hotels of similar caliber. The food is average. The service is average. The room, the grounds, the pools, the spa, amazing! Definitely experience it at least once!
