Wow! This little gem of a hotel is truly magical. Elena and the staff helped me plan our trip to Como as soon as I booked. They answered questions and provide lots of tour options. When we arrived they were so warm and welcoming. Our room was wonderful. The provided breakfast was my breakfast loving husband’s dream come true!! The darling chef provided a wonderful homemade spread each morning. Don’t miss this spot in your trip to Como.

We absolutely adored our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The careful attention to detail, superb style and exceptional customer service really makes it a very special experience. Thank you to the lovely Elena for whom nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast experience is second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and can’t wait to return one day 🤍

Wonderful and outstanding service in this beautiful small Italian palazzo. A tranquil hidden gem in the centre of Como where nothing is too much trouble for the brilliant and dedicated staff led by Elena. Fantastic extensive home made breakfasts served to you personally in a leisurely manner and weather permitting served outside on the terrace. Afternoon tea with a slice of homemade cake is very welcome after a day sightseeing. Cocktails and snacks available from 6pm each evening. Our large traditional bedroom was extremely comfortable with a newly refurbished bathroom. Perfect sutuation for ferries, shops and restaurants. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back.

We stayed here based on all the 5 star reviews First the good. Excellent location right in the center of Como in the pedestrian zone. A bit difficult to get to if you are driving yourself. About a block from the cathedral square. Staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. They will do anything to help you and take care of you. It is indeed a restored palazzo and each room is unique. Bathrooms have been renovated with good hot water and pressure . The breakfasts are served to you with several very interesting choices some of which change daily. Food is excellent. Next the not so good. Quaint and charming does not always translate into luxurious rooms. It is not inexpensive to stay here and we did not find all the furniture up to par. There was pervasive perfume throughout as if they were trying to hide something . I have never experienced this before and it gave my wife a severe migraine which she rarely gets. The staff were responsive and changed our room to another with no carpeting. And we were able to complete our stay. Hence 4 stars. If you have any fragrance allergies this place is not for you.

Loved our 4-night stay in this fabulous heritage hotel in the heart of the old city. Quiet and serene surroundings, great breakfast and staff. We stayed in the Carta da Zucchero room on the first floor overlooking the street, but no noise at all! Stylish furnishings in the bedroom and bathroom. Also, if you just want a simple meal in the evening, it’s possible to purchase wine by the glass and a charcuterie plate to eat in the garden. Thank you Julie and all the lovely people in this hotel. We also met the owner, a graceful lady in a gorgeous silk dress who said hello to us…

Not much to write about here, it's all fantastic. Rooms are beautiful, large bathrooms with proper high pressure showers, staff are terrific. You're in the middle of Como, it's a no brainer. Best hotel we have stayed in on our current Europe trip.

Stayed here for 4 nights for our one year anniversary. We were informed at check in that the AC was not working (normally a red flag for me in Italy). Having said that, I decided to take the risk as the property is beautiful, the staff are amazing. The problems began out last night. Around 12am, the downstairs guests (children) decided to start smoking. Now normally this wouldn’t be an issue, except the AC wasn’t working for the duration of our stay which required us leaving the windows open. Soon thereafter, smoke started to fill our room, as they “partied” on their patio the loud voices and laughs rang through the breakfast courtyard. I called the emergency line and received a call back. The lady wasn’t apologetic as she had no idea based on my description which room we were in or who we were. Super disappointed as this was the first time we’ve encountered guests who acted like they were in Ibiza, in a city like Como. The service and property are immaculate but I’ve learned to stay away from the trash you have to spend ＞$1,000/night. Daddy/Mommy can’t or refuse to pay that much for their children to sleep/smoke.

From the truly incredible breakfast spread (check out their Instagram account, but it's legitimately unbelievable what's included in breakfast: homemade and locally sourced cheeses, meats, yogurt parfaits, cakes, cookies, jams, breads, egg dishes, porridge and great coffee to boot!) to the impeccably designed rooms, we loved every moment of our time here. My personal favorite aspect is that Julie and Elena offer an aperitivo hour each night on the patio where you can order snacks and cocktails while listening to jazz in the beautiful candlelit garden area. This is one of my favorite spots we've ever stayed in and I would recommend it to any and everyone I know visiting Como. It's a slice of heaven with beautiful decor, delicious breakfast and two incredibly kind and helpful hosts!

Wonderful charming hotel with boutique feel in the heart of Como. We stayed here using IHG points and were very impressed with the entire stay. Breakfast was my favorite. Every course is hand served. Make time to enjoy breakfast if you stay here! We also enjoyed using the hotels free bikes to ride around town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quaint very Italian feeling place to stay in Como. Only about 10-15 min walk to the water and ferry that takes you to other towns on the lake. We loved our stay.
