Hotels with Breakfast in Como

Perfect location, nice old building.Unfortunately works on the pier but appreciates words of the mayor on the room desk for apologies. Music bar after the diner with nice cocktails. Big salons to relax.

The location was great but it was a strange hotel. We were in room 901 but it was on the ground floor. We opened the door and were hit by a heavy perfume aroma. This never went away even when we opened a window. The fly screen had holes in it. The room was an odd shop with the bathroom door touching the bed. It was difficult to stand at the sink as the toilet was in the way. The bed was lumpy so we didn’t sleep well. However the breakfast was excellent and the lady was welcoming. Disappointed to be honest.

We spent one evening at the Sheraton because our other hotel was full. This is a pleasant four-star hotel, they were many people because it was August and the pool area was completely full during the day. Our room was clean and we were upgraded to a terrace room. The hotel is not located directly by the lake, you will have to cross the road and a small village in order to access. I did not have the occasion to try food at the Sheraton because it was too short but it looked wonderfully adequate. Once again for a four star resort everything was on point and the price was very acceptable for high season at Lake COmo. Hotel parking is €15 and night however there are plenty of free overnight street parking.

We lived in Como for a while and walked past this hotel every day. It's literally on the lakefront and as central to the centro storico, the bus station and the train station as it is possible to get. We always thought it would be a nice place to stay. Roll forward and we had reason to visit Como again this week so we booked it. I also booked another room for someone we were planning to meet in Como. The hotel is one of those elegant old-school hotels you could imagine from reading about the grand old days of ('old' in the sense of traditional, elegant and sophisticated - but not 'old' in a 'tired' way). Imagine the exact opposite of a modern steel & glass skyscraper hotel and this is what you will find here. Staff were very attentive and friendly (while still being unobtrusive and professional). Food was excellent. Maybe the breakfast was a little but expensive but that's the way it is with hotels - just book it with your reservation and you'll save. Dinner in the restaurant overlooking the fountain (twice) was fantastic. Many of the dishes were not as expensive as local tourist ripoffs elsewhere in the City. The Cotoletta Milanese was as good as I have ever tasted anywhere in northern Italy (imagine a soft, succulent Veal steak covered in breadcrumbs) and big enough to share 1/3 of it and still be full afterwards. The Lunch menu was better and less expensive than places with much less quality on the menu. Overall, I would happily recommend the Palace Hotel to anyone. Treat yourself and book a room with a Lake View. You won't regret the extra few Euro.

The hotel is in a superb location, facing Lake Como, and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Lake Como Train Station and the cruise ship terminal. The front desk upgraded me to a lake view room for free, which was very much appreciated. The buffet breakfast was rich and delicious.

This is a new hotel after relocation. The previous address was next to it, so the navigation was still the previous location. It took 10 minutes to find it. It is inside the Maserati 4S store park. The hotel environment and facilities are very good. It has its own swimming pool and indoor and outdoor peddle courts. It feels like a vacation. The hotel service staff is very good, and the room hygiene is cleaned twice a day. Whether it is Lake Como or going to the center of Milan, it is recommended to stay here if you drive.

It is a small hotel, with 18 rooms, the front desk is very small, and there is always only one person. The price of 5 stars, the room is about 3-4 stars, and the service is about 3 stars. But we missed a mobile phone after we checked out. The hotel found out and contacted us by email. We replied to the email and asked them to arrange for DHL to send it back (fees at their own expense). They dealt with it in a timely manner. Thank you very much.

The perfect balance of price, scenery and service. First of all, the location is very good. If there is no self-driving, it is only a few hundred meters from the nearest terminal and bus station. There is a big supermarket within a few hundred meters, so it is convenient to buy everything. The hotel has a perfect view and is located by the lake. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Como from the hotel lobby and the hotel garden. Most of the rooms should have a very good view. No other plan to enjoy the view in the hotel is very satisfying. The overall facilities of the hotel are also ok, 4 stars are no problem, and the bedding is very comfortable, which is considered an excellent level among 4 stars. The breakfast is rich and delicious, with the scenery of the restaurant, very enjoyable. Finally, the service is good, and the staff are very helpful.

The room is very large, the breakfast is acceptable, and it is close to the train station. There is a large supermarket nearby, making shopping convenient. There is a family-run restaurant called Alice. The prices are affordable, and the food is ready to order. It tastes OK but lacks variety.
