This hidden place just a short walk from the sea has a soul. The family who has built and run this apartment hotel have created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The heart of the place is the wonderful and warm staff (special thanks to Heti and Marize) led by the young hotel director who is working hard to built further upon what his family has started. On top of that the sea and mountain views from the apartment balcony are stunning, the hotel is very clean, the apartment was comfortable and there is a very good small Italian restaurant / pizza place next to the hotel pool. And ofcourse there are always small inprovements to make in the rooms, but all of the above and not to forget Heti's homemade jams and the beautiful sunsets, make Mariposa del Sol a great place to enjoy your holiday.

I’m reluctant to write a review because I want to keep this little gem of a place to myself! I simply cannot fault the place. The accommodation is spotless & the pool area very relaxing with ample space for all. We have had the most wonderful 2 week stay & full marks to all staff for being so welcoming. Also, the home-made jam and marmalade that the lovely Hetty sells is awesome!! Highly recommended the Mango!! Seriously, can’t rate the place highly enough! Thank you xx

Disappointing. We asked for a stay with sun on the terrace. They confirmed. It turned out we only had sun from 4pm. They apologized but could not move us (if they have told us we would have cancelled) Restaurant was closed. They apologized again. So no breakfast. No poolbar. No restaurant. No minimarket and no sun. But worst of all. They did not tell us on beforehand. No compensation just a smile and a “I don’t care - apology”. Very disappointing. We will take it up with *********** when returning so they can help other guests to be informed correctly

(My actual stay: 2018) The hotel was in a bad location not much to do in the area and almost No restaurants. One day we smelled Something weird in the room and I had kind of an allergic reaction, and there was MOLD behind there couch! Elevator Was broken for the entire trip. If they didn’t Renovate the place I would give it 1 star. Worst encounter at a Hotel.

Location abbastanza comoda per raggiungere il paese con piccolo parcheggio privato all'ingresso comunque sempre trovato libero. Ottima l accoglienza italiana con suggerimenti vari per locali e luoghi da visitare. Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana, all ultimo piano con vista panoramica dal bel terrazzo attrezzato. Locali trovati puliti e in ordine. Cucina abbastanza attrezzata e pulita. Ringraziamo il sig. Salvatore che ci ha aiutato per un problema che ha prontamente risolto. Buona la struttura adiacente alla piscina riscaldata, per colazioni alla mattina e per una buona pizza alla sera, gestita da una coppia simpatica di giovani italiani. Non posso che consigliare questa struttura come appoggio per varie gite sull'isola.

Siamo appena ritornati io e mia moglie da una settimana trascorsa in questo Residence e devo dire che dopo trent'anni questa struttura rimane attualissima e al passo dei tempi. Dobbiamo ringraziare la professionalita' e cortesia di tutto lo staff che compone questo Residence, dal direttore Sig. Luca alla signora delle pulizie (attenta e pronta ad ogni richiesta di mia moglie). Sottolineo la pulizia e modernita' ritrovata nella nostra camera dotata di un grande televisore e di una vista che ci rimane nel cuore. Tutto il personale (un particolare ringraziamento per tutte le informazioni ricevute da parte di una sempre sorridente Jessica) compreso i gestori del ristorante-pizzeria sono sempre stati gentili e disponibili! Aggiungo che dopo trent'anni abbiamo trovato anche la piscina riscaldata che non c'era quella volta. Ci siamo gia' ripromessi di ritornare il prossimo anno!!!!!!! Andrea e Laura Pordenone Italia

All’arrivo, dopo un lungo viaggio, l’ascensore non funzionava: abbiamo dovuto portare le valigie ad un piano alto. L’appartamento era poco attrezzato. Mobilio scadente, due materassi accostati, anziché uno solo matrimoniale. Solo tre cucchiaini, tre forchette, tre coltelli, tre bicchieri… poco di tutto il resto. La piscina era freddissima ed inutilizzabile. Carino il terrazzo da cui godere il tramonto sul mare. Avrebbero dovuto cambiare asciugamani e pulire l’appartamento due volte in una settimana. Dopo quattro giorni abbiamo insistito perché ciò avvenisse. Dopo una prima risposta negativa, al quinto giorno lo hanno fatto. Nota decisamente positiva la pizzeria Lievitando accanto alla piscina. Pizza favolosa e personale molto gentile.

Appartamento carino con ampio terrazzo e vista mare e tramonto molto bella. Per la pulizia dell' appartamento (compresa nel prezzo) abbiamo dovuto insistere. La cucina è poco fornita ma la struttura si è resa disponibile all' acquisto di alcuni pezzi mancanti. Molto molto negativo aver trovato l'ascensore rotto all' arrivo (molto pesante il trasporto delle valigie ai piani alti) e non averlo potuto utilizzare sempre perché periodicamente fuori uso. Bellissima sorpresa la pizzeria Lievitando gestita dalla Sig.ra Federica: una delle migliori pizze mangiate. Se il ristorante facesse anche colazioni al mattino con piccolo buffet e la piscina avesse l'acqua calda la struttura ne gioverebbe patecchio
