Although the hotel is not large in size, it is clean overall. The location is convenient and isolated from the highway. The breakfast location of the hotel is decorated to look like a restaurant. There is a wide variety of breakfast food!

I arrived at the hotel at 3 am and called the hotel door. The front desk is like an Indian and Pakistani. The facilities are old, but they are relatively clean. Breakfast is rarely taken by itself.

Salmon Arm is located on the Trans-Canada Highway midway between Calgary and Vancouver on the shores of Shuswap Lake System. It is both a summer and winter recreation area. Pet-Friendly Fees may apply. Summer recreation activities include water sports house boating river rafting and championship golf courses. The room facilities are very good. Clean and tidy. Reasonable layout. The bathroom is very comfortable. There is also a small kettle with warm water. This is not available in many Canadian hotels. The bathroom is also very comfortable. The shower and bathtub are separated. In short, it is a very comfortable hotel. The sound insulation is also very good.

Early June is off season and a great time to visit a quiet Revelstoke. The Sutton Place is a few minutes from town at the center of what looks to one day be a mini Whistler. The hotel is elegant and modern. The rooms are IMHO magnificent. We both decided we could live there full time. We had more than we needed or wanted and it is all very well done. We were a little concerned that there was only one restaurant (Rockford) and town required driving. The full kitchen in our room would have been used if we were staying longer or had family with us. The first meal at the Rockford convinced us to eat all meals there. Everything about the Rockford was excellent; ambiance, view, staff, and of course food. At our last meal before leaving I was craving veggies and selected a tuna ”bowl”. I'm only 77 but it was one of the tastiest and satisfying meals ever.

Very good hotel, warm, convenient, will visit next time.
