My cousin and I stayed here for 6 nights during a skiing week with a group of ski enthusiasts. The location of the guesthouse on the slopes is therefore very convenient. After multiple attempts we managed to book but in the end we understood that the owner responds hastily before 9am and after 9pm. We had been informed that we would have to change rooms on Saturday but when we arrived at the hotel the owner informed the organizer that we could have a room without a balcony and without a change on Saturday then he left without informing the staff who did not he knew nothing and gave us the room with the balcony. More or less the same film on Friday for the room change, at that point they hadn't told us anything yet so we had the hope of not having to change anyway after skiing we asked and the lady at reception didn't know anything so she made sure to ask to the boss and in the evening at dinner he told us the room number but nothing more. The following day we caught the boss who, however, did not give us the new keys (the lady in the annex had opened the room for us to put the suitcases but without giving us the keys), we had to ask for them ourselves after skiing, reassuring the lady that number 8 was the right room... All this to say that I don't think it is appropriate to manage a structure like this, even if it were only one star. Regarding breakfast, there is no toaster and I don't think the coffee is drinkable, very long-life milk which ruins an already bad cappuccino even more, low quality packaged cakes like the cheeses, luckily the herbal teas and good bread ensure a reasonably good breakfast satiating and invigorating. For dinner, however, we enjoyed the vegetable buffet and both the first and second courses were always plentiful and tasty, the sore point in my opinion are the desserts which, apart from a couple of evenings in which they were pleasant, we found them dry and therefore just right for breakfast or cloying and without any accompanying cream/sauce. The rooms are half renovated, new wardrobe and bed but drafty windows and doors/walls without sound insulation so either you are used to wearing earplugs otherwise I think it would be difficult to sleep as in my case.
