Side Star Resort Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

what can i say we have just had 10 fantastic days here.The Hotel is spotless the staff can't do enough for you the Animation team are so good I have got to say a big thanx to Mustafia and Nehia they are just the best always getting my son involved in whats going on Darts bingo dancing they are a credit to this hotel.All the staff work so hard and nothing is to much trouble. The food is really good and I am a fussy eater eggs toasties pancakes pizza pasta jacket potato salad fruit veg lamb chicken there really is something for everyone.the one thing was the pool was like ice but that's because of the time of year we came We will 100% be back here thanx so much for a great time and we will see you soon

I am sorry to write this but if you have booked this hotel my advice is to change!! The rooms are satisfactory, The bistro bar is disgustingly, dirty, dingy, cold food and limited drinks. You are limited where you can drink, reception bar and that is it. If you want to pay for fresh orange juice then go ahead. Beach is dirty. Approach of hotel is dirty. Location is isolated. Branded drinks are not available ! According to a jet 2 Rep “ all inclusive plus does not mean anything “ This is not 4 + star , 3 stars max. The best thing is the jet 2 rep “ Luna”

Visiting for the second time , we had a very good holiday but do feel the offering wasn’t as good as the same time last year, most notably the lack of food options in the pool bar especially the kfc style chicken not available which we found very disappointing. The food which was available in the main restaurant was good although again not as much choice as previous visit, we stayed in a jacuzzi family room and to be completely honest we found the standard family room last year much better when travelling with children, the jacuzzi didn’t work and leaked on arrival which was sorted by the hotel quickly. The hotel is immaculate and cleaned rigorously daily. The entertainment team were fantastic as were all of the other hotel staff , we found service this year was much better than last year. The drinks choices are very good and bar is 24h. The hotels location is quite remote but we love it and side /Manavgat is only a short dolmus trip away. Local shops and bars are a short walk. Overall a good holiday but slightly disappointed in the pool bar food choices. On a side note there are lots of German football teams staying in the hotel and they are very respectful and not an issue at all however a team of Russian children arrived with minimal supervision and ran riot , fighting and causing a nuisance , this really wasn’t the hotels fault but they should have maybe told the children’s guardians that this wasn’t acceptable as it really did spoil the hotel for a lot of guests and we heard many people upset with them. Will we return ? Quite probably and good value for money.

Well where to start had an absolutly amazing new year at side star resort. Food wise was so much option at times at buffet I got overwhelmed luckily had option of pool snack bar where you could have fresh made toasties jacket potatoes pastas and the best fried chicken I've ever eaten! Patisserie for coffee and cakes and the indoor snack bar aswell as choice of 3 al a carte restaurants we only managed to get into the Turkish but it was delicious!! Next the room was lovely family room consisted of two bedrooms a large wardrobe with free to use safe toilet and shower room and two seperate balconys along with a mini bar topped up daily which was kept spotless our cleaner unfortunately went off before we got her name but decorated the bed with a swan and flowers nice touch! In the area about 5/10 mins walk is shops supermarkets tea and spice shops and tattoo shop I went to them all and just lovely and right outside hotel buses to side old town and manavgat city 2 euros each we went both and had great times. Downstairs is the gym arcade entertainment room and disco arcade decent kids enjoyed it entertainment was good and mixture of singers and dancers disco room is so fun like an old styles disco with lights and good mix of music didn't use gym but looked decent. Upstairs bar was nice and chilled with soecialist cocktails which were really lovely and lots of cats am not even a cat person but they were so tame and friendly. indoor and outdoor pools were great my youngest loved the slides which we were made up were open as I'd read they wudnt be so great bonus! Beach was stunning and i liked the off ground area (i assume its a bar being renovated) as i hate sand so i could sit and daughter could play in the sand. Also spa looked lovely but i got a tattoo done so couldnt have the turkish bath i wanted. Little one really liked the park too just shame trampolines wernt open. New year was the most amazing party I have ever been too what a treat from the welcome cocktails to the meal and entertainment to the countdown outdoor party with prosecco I will remember it always. And finally to the staff the day to day running of the place must employ so many an I will say most have a smile on their face always the new years staff worked so hard they didn't stop for a second all night. The cleaners and maintence are the same and the bar staff are just unbelievable I have special mentions for the lady in downstairs bar I didn't get her name but she was very good very attentive and very friendly and the other will be no suprise Kadir what a lovely young man my daughter loved him by day 2 he remembered all our names and always checked at 10 to 12 if we needed anymore drinks. All in all was honestly one of best holidays I've been on (think weather being so good was a bonus) but I really do hope to get booked in to come back next year.

This hotel is excellent in every way. Food is fantastic and the buffet choice is exceptional. The speciality restaurants go above and beyond for both service and quality. Everywhere is so clean and well presented but the main highlight is defo the staff. So engaging and accommodating. Nothing is a problem and all your needs are catered for.

We stopped at this hotel towards the end of October 2024. Weather was lovely (27-33 degrees) although quite a bit cooler in the evenings which prevented us from joining a few of the outdoor shows/events. The inside lounges are very nice though. The hotel including rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. There was also plenty of food options in the main restaurant. We didn't feel the need to try the a la carte restaurants. The staff were also friendly and helpful. It was busy around the pool area, and with a few sun beds reserved for seemingly non-existent guests. The one thing we noticed was that the pool was very cool. The main pool isn't heated and even after 20 minutes, still felt cold. This was our only gripe. The smaller splash pool where the slides enter was heated, although a sign suggested that this was not always the case. It's a short walk down to the private beach where there is another all inclusive bar/food outlet and lots of sun beds. Wifi also extends to the beach which is useful. Our mobile phone tariffs didn't extend to Turkey and it is very expensive to use out of tariff. There is a cashpoint about 5 minutes from the hotel. There was a minimum withdrawal amount of 50 Euros and a fee was also charged. Therefore not sure whether it is just better to take the cash rather than the top up cards - not that we needed much. Everything is priced in Euros although some of the shops convert the amount to Lira on payment. Again, this prevented us from using the Euros we had transferred to a payment card (Barclays Wallet). Something to be aware of. There are lots of shops about 10 minutes walk away, and we also got on a local bus to the Side market (2E each). Overall very good, and we had a lovely time. Thank you.
