Stayed here for a convention that was happening at the rodeo grounds in March 2024.
Our first room was 310. It is a handicap room. No big deal about that, other than a somewhat goofy shower where only the low hand-held shower head worked, The valve to enable the one that sticks out of the wall for normal use wouldn't work. Not an issue. The real problem was the amazingly loud couple in the room above us who fought and banged around furniture all night. It literally went on all night! I only brought one pair of foam earplugs, so gave them to my wife and I did my best to ignore it and go to sleep. That didn't happen much at all.
Next morning, wife went and told the lady at the front counter. She said that couple was leaving that day, but moved us to the 4th floor anyway. She was VERY nice!
We got moved to room 409 for the rest of our stay in Clovis. Room was VERY quiet!! We slept like the dead. Room 409 was almost directly over the canopy over the doors to the hotel lobby facing the street. I thought it would be loud with street noise, but it was very quiet.
Now, let me just say, the hotel isn't the latest, greatest. However, the staff more than makes up for it. Everyone was so nice, right down to the lady tending to the included breakfast in the morning. Absolutely wonderful experience from the staffing standpoint.
