Sincere hospitality: greeted by Martha and encouraged to make ourselves at home while we stayed over-night. Attention to details: afternoon tea, coffee before breakfast and a wet bar available to the occupants. Cleanliness: did not see a speck of dirt or a layer of dust anywhere in the Inn. Tasty breakfast: three course delectable breakfast which filled me until dinner. If you are anywhere near Clifton Forge, VA. this is the place to stay. Looking forward to a return visit someday. Our son got married October 28th in the Clifton Forge area and we rented the entire house for him and his groomsmen. From the time of booking until they checked out, Martha was wonderful to deal with and went above and beyond. The house is meticulously maintained. The grounds and interior of the home are stunning! The views spectacular!! Martha had it tastefully decorated for Fall & Halloween. So many special touches! The hospitality she, along with her mom & dad provided was warm and welcoming. She is an amazing chef! I can't say enough positive things about the Hillcrest Mansion Inn & Martha. I highly recommend it!

This was one of the most incredible, relaxing get-aways in a long time. The Inn is gorgeous, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Martha Crawford is an incredible hostess and made sure our stay was nothing less than perfect -from greeting us as we arrived, to giving us a tour and history of the house, to afternoon cheese & crackers with a glass of wine, to turning our beds down and what an incredible breakfast the following morning. Martha is a superb chef, creating unique and so tasty breakfasts that one has to rest after eating just to be able to continue on with your day! She is willing and capable of catering any meal or function you may have. For Saturday afternoon, she made a decadent mocha chocolate pound cake -it was delish! Sunday morning breakfast was made even more memorable by being graced by Marthas parents (Amy and JB), who were a blast to talk with. Do not pass on an opportunity to relax and enjoy the Hillcrest, its history and especially the Innkeepers -an experience not to be missed and one that we will definitely return to!
