Waterfront Rest B&B

Stayed 3 nights at this wonderful B&B just outside of Clifden. Lydie is a great hostess. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of full Irish breakfast or pancakes. Both were delicious. Lydie offered us suggestions for our visits around the area and she was right on. Everything she suggested turned out to be just what we wanted. She is very helpful and considerate. A really great B&B experience.

My husband booked this B&B as part of our almost circumnavigation of Ireland. It was not only a beautiful location but a gorgeous B&B. Lidie our hostess was both charming and fun. The property and our ground floor room was perfect for us. Breakfast lasted us until an early dinner - delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B. Not surprising as it was full (5 j rooms the night we stayed. Thank you Lidie and your family

I stayed here for two nights during my cycle tour along the wild Atlantic way. The B & B's location is set above the renowned Sky road with a splendid coastal view. So peaceful too. My room was spacious, well equipped & extremely clean. I particularly liked the host's personal items used to decorate the room. The bathroom, though small, had everything in working order. Wifi was very good also. I slept very well on both nights, drawing back the curtains to admire the starry skies above. The stars' clarity in the sky showing me just how remote the location is. Breakfast on both mornings was a delight for my tastebuds. I received a cooked breakfast made to order by the host. Toast, yoghurt, fruit & numerous other items were also available to eat. The host's frendliness & attention to detail with all things were much appreciated by me. I left here with such happy memories. I thoroughly recommend this B & B. J'aimerais bien revenir dans l'avenir !

Great view and very quiet. Wehre to begin? A not conveniant room. Small with no storing spaces. Tiny shower with very weak flow of the water and bad designed bathroom without shelves to put your stuff. The building is made of wood so when someone in the room above go to the toilet at night you hear. No wifi! When we asked, the host made some strange excuse about a technician that didnt come. No tv. The room is cold. Location: as i wrote the view is beautiful, but the location is very isolated with a very narrow and not secure road that leads to the site.   But the worst: the host is, in an understatement,  an unpleasant woman with no attitude of hospitality. We made a mistake and didnt notice the fact that you should checkin before 0630 pm! Wich is already a bad hosting. But when we were late and literally begged her to leave a key for us she sent us to look for another place to sleep and thats it!. Of course she charged us for that night. When we arrived for our "second" and last night at the b&b and asked her how can she do that to her guests she blamed us and argued and was very agrresive and not nice. Probably she will argue also with this review. I will never come back to this place and i suggest anyone who's concidering it, not to come. I also recomend everyone to read more reviews not only in booking but also on tripadvisor (i unfortunately didnt) and to see that the description i wrote is not unusual and the owner always acuses her guests.

Nous y avons passé 2 nuits. Accueil très chaleureux. Très jolie chambre, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Lit confortable, très belle vue. Au calme. Petit déjeuner au top avec des produits frais et faits maison (caramel beurre salé, confiture etc...). La propriétaire nous a bien conseillés pour nos sorties resto. Notre séjour était parfait. Nous aurions dû rester plus longtemps, dommage. Ce B & B est fait pour des personnes qui souhaitent une ambiance zen et au calme. Le but est atteint. Merci.

Accueil agréable par Lydie. Bon conseil pour trouver un restaurant à Clifden. Bel établissement dans le coeur du Connemara avec vue magnifique sur la baie. Chambre confortable. Calme. Ciel étoilé à notre retour du Pub. Petit déjeuner Top.
