📍 2017 E 9th St, Cleveland

"Terrible hotel. Couldn't check in upon arrival due to a front desk error. The hotel's facilities are often broken, like the air conditioning and beds. The room was incredibly noisy at night because it faced the main street, making it very hard to get good rest. I changed rooms three times, but it was always the same. The service was also really bad, and the front desk manager was dismissive. Plus, the food at the lobby restaurant was awful and way too salty. Definitely a hotel to avoid."

Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection

"I recently had a very frustrating experience with Hotel Cleveland Autograph Collection. I made an honest mistake with my reservation date and only realized it on the same day of check-out. I immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation and request either a date change or some form of refund. Unfortunately, I was told there was nothing they could do, and no solution or flexibility was offered. What makes this even more disappointing is that I am a loyal Marriott customer, and I expected a higher level of understanding and support, especially in a situation like this. This stay was meant to be part of my honeymoon, which makes the experience even more upsetting and frustrating. I understand policies exist, but the lack of empathy and willingness to assist left me very disappointed"

"The hotel is located in a mall that is about to close. It is a standard North American room. If you have a car, I don't recommend staying here! I booked a room for two days, but because my child had a fever, I decided to stay for only one night. I started to coordinate one night in advance, but it didn't work. When I checked out the next day, the front desk said that as long as I didn't stay, it wouldn't be charged. But since the payment had been made on Ctrip, I asked to communicate with Ctrip. Ctrip replied that the hotel didn't agree. I don't know the specific situation. Just take it as a lesson!"

The equipment is aging, and the wash basin can not be launched! It really damages the reputation of the hotel and causes half of the inconvenience to the guests."

"I was traveling to Cleveland for a conference and preferred an apartment style hotel to stay out to cook meals and generally not stay at the convention center hotel. I highly recommend ROOST Cleveland - the location is incredible and there's a lot of cafes and a grocery store in walking distance. I was also able to quickly take the bus to visit some museums on my last day! The space was so big and luxurious and cozy; having the ability to do laundry and run a dishwasher made being it feel like I was right at home."

"I am a Chinese international student. When I checked in, a black lady was there. I felt a little discriminated against. I was staying alone, but I was assigned a twin room. The city view was average, and the room facilities were OK."

"The room was quite old. Check-in is at 4 PM, and I tried emailing the hotel to see if I could check in earlier, but received no response at all. The first room they gave me had two huge fans right outside the window, so I had to talk to the front desk manager to get a different one. I already knew there wouldn't be slippers, toothbrushes, or toothpaste, but there wasn't even a cup to put my toothbrush in. I only chose this hotel because the Hilton was fully booked."

"Drove to Cleveland to see a musical, and it was a 10-minute walk to the Connor Palace Theater. Valet parking was $50 a night, and the valet attendant was great. However, the front desk was a different story – I requested an extra comforter twice, in-person and over the phone, but never received it."
