I booked a 2 night stay. I had to change my reservation to a 1 night stay 10 days prior to check in. I had a confirmation number and confirmed with an employee on property the change had been made. When we arrived, we were told we were ‘no shows’ , our room canceled and our card charged. No attempt to get us a room, no refund, no apology. I’ve spent a week trying to get a refund. The manager, Sonny, will not speak to me. Choice Hotels corporate tells me they see no charge; my bank statement says otherwise. Do NOT recommend this property. They have taken $174.50 from my account and no one from the owner to corporate can help me. I think I’ll take an add out in the local newspaper. Shady business practices!
