Silver Ridge Retreat is so much more than just a place to sleep – it’s an experience! Surrounded by stunning natural beauty and teeming with wildlife, it’s the perfect getaway for nature enthusiasts. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere is truly refreshing. The indoor heated pool was a huge hit with the kids, and being just a 10-minute drive from the magical world of Tasmazia made it even better. The host is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to share local tips and interesting info about the area. If you're traveling with young children, this place is a dream – safe, spacious, and filled with little adventures. I highly recommend Silver Ridge Retreat to anyone looking to relax, explore, and enjoy Tasmania’s natural wonders.

Comfortable and clean cabins with amazing views. There were a few other families staying so the hosts did a nocturnal walk to spot the local wildlife which was great. Handy location for exploring nearby towns and attractions and excellent for the kids with plenty of animals to find and the silver mine to walk down. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would stay again.

Seventeen of us stayed at Silver Ridge to do some walking, and found it perfect for this. It is a in a wonderful position, on the lower slopes of Mount Roland. The cottages are comfortable and our hosts were very helpful. The disused mine on the property is definitely worth a visit.

We had a great stay at Silver Ridge retreat with our family. Beautiful place, great views, lots of wildlife. Not too far from Cradle Mountain and other sightseeing points. Our teenage boys loved the pool. Lovely hosts. Definitive recommend anyone to stay here.

What a fabulous place to spend a few days. We loved our cabin and the quiet location off the beaten track, with numerous walks to explore, or sit by the lake and watch wildlife. Also a great location to visit Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake, just a short drive away. We would highly recommend this location and hope to return sometime in the future. The owners are also wonderful people. We enjoyed our hike to the old silver mine, but did have a little trouble finding it as we missed the signage--must have been looking the other way and walked straight past the sign....

Amazing property which is peacefully quiet and the views are just wow. Our cabin had the comfiest bed and everything we needed for our stay. My daughter loved the pool and seeing the animals. Would recommend if you would like a laid back place to stay.

Had a great stay at Silver Ridge retreat. It feels very far away from everything and is very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. I especially enjoyed the large green rolling hills with a backdrop of Mt Roland that I could see from my cottage. They were very friendly and helpful, letting me check out a couple hours later my last day when I was a bit unwell.

What a tranquil place! Exactly as in the picture and so much more. John is a excellent host. We did a short walk to the caves which we thoroughly enjoyed for the adventure and mystery. The views all day long are so picturesque. The rooms are comfortable but the bedrooms can get very cold in the night.

Room was nice and clean, but after a long day bush walking you think the spa would be great to soak in. Nooooo rather disgusting when it’s brown water. I know the water is tested, but yuckkkky. Also a few bottles of drinking water would be really nice sitting in the frig.
