There is great trout fishing at Cullaby & Coffenbury Lakes , with miles of bike friendly trails to explore in Fort Stevens State Park. Astoria is fun to visit as are the close towns of Seaside, Gearhart, Warrenton, and Cannon Beach.Only 4 guests/renters are allowed with only 2 vehicle spaces. Great neighborhood to take a walk. Frequent appearances of deer, elk and bald eagles. Cullaby Lake is nearby to enjoy fishing, hiking, picnicking and bird watching.If you want to access the beach by car, access is just north of Surf Pines at the end of Sunset Beach.Downstairs has a nice living room with a fireplace and a family room with large tv. Kitchen is nicely equipped and unique dining table seats 8. 3 bedrooms (one king bed and three queen beds) and 3 baths. Upstairs den with smart tv and enclosed porch with ocean view. Plenty of areas to spread out, read a book, watch tv or play a game. Great for multiple families or friends to get together.Self check-in with lockbox. The back door leads to a small deck, with rear-stairwell leading out into a quiet, shared back yard space. Pets are welcome.Guest accessTwo off-street parking spots are provided for your use. While it is possible to access downtown on foot, we recommend guests headed downtown to get there via car, as it is a longer (approx 30 min) walk. The Hammond Marina is 4.6 miles down the road to launch your boat during the ever popular fishing/ crabbing season. The Skipanon boat launch is 3.4 miles.Astoria is 18 minutes away- museums, great food, and neat shops scattered through town.The house has many key features we find appealing. The long driveway to this house will accommodate a truck and boat combination or even an RV parking space. The Kitchen has an amazing layout that will be sure to impress. After a day of adventure you could easily cook up a great meal. Bar stool seating allows friends or family to keep company while cooking. There is a lot of natural light into the house which compliments the vaulted ceilings. The living room has a large TV and a gas fireplace. Grabbing a drink at the Dutch Bros Coffee Co. across the street or making yourself a hot one in the kitchen is the best way to enjoy the views of passing barges and the goings-on of urban-industrial Uniontown Astoria. Pets, friends and family are welcome here, although we ask that furry friends are kept OFF the beds and couches, as it is difficult to de-hair the furnishings! We're excited to share our love of the ruggedly beautiful Oregon coast with you!The spaceOur home consists of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and laundry room. Although the house is quite warm and comfy when the heater is on, the floors do get cold in low temperatures. We recommend packing thick socks or slippers to get the most out of your rustic Astoria experience. We can accommodate two dogs, with dog bed and blankets provided. We can also accommodate up to 8 humans, although space would be limited and to be the most comfortable, we recommend staying here only with 6 or less guests in total.Please note that our proximity to the 101 means that noise from cars can be heard inside the unit!Guest accessThe kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room are all yours.
