Brunton House Guest House

The property was clean and well looked after. The room was lovely, bright, airy and well laid out. There were blackout curtains which was a plus. The fridge was well stocked and the continental breakfast was well provided for in the room. The dining table in the room was a good focal point for the family. Our room was facing the road yet there was little or no noise at night. Paul and his wife were lovely host who were responsive and great hosts. We will come back to stay when we visit the Clacton-On-Sea pier once again!

I enjoyed a two night stay whilst attending to business in the area. This is far better than might be expected of a guest house. Impeccably clean and quiet too. All facilities available in the centrally heated ensuite room, more than adequate breakfast supplied. Great location, a couple of minutes walk to the seafront or town centre. Free parking at the front. The owners give guests personal attention, and if there is anything I can do for them I hope they will ask me. I am surprised that anyone can give it less than 5 stars. Staying at Brunton made my trip more like a holiday than work.

What an impressive first time visit. I visit clacton on business regularly . I’d asked for a quiet room , they allocated one on the side of the house , it had double glazed windows and was indeed a quiet stay. The room suited my activities perfectly , they was a table by the window so I sat comfortably with a mug of tea and finished my work . There is a port either side of the bed to charge your devices and a sidelight . The room was spotlessly clean and looked recently decorated . Bed was cozy and there was plentiful hot water from the shower . There is no cooked breakfast , but the room has everything to make light breakfast and includes fresh bread, yoghurt , milk and fruit is supplied . They have five parking places on the frontage and a number of free to park spaces on the road . Only 5mins from pubs and shops and 100 m from the beach . A superb visit

A great guest house everything you need at the bottom of the road is the beach very close to shops and a great theatre local. Would differently recommend. Had toaster, kettle,fridge tea and coffee and milk. On suite with toliet and shower very clean. And TV in room.

Excellent very friendly and helpful good breakfast left in our room, very clean comfortable room, fresh towels and linen, had a microwave, tea coffee making, fridge. Plenty cupboard space, en suite shower, really enjoyed our stay very well looked after will definitely return.
