My experience traveling to the ****** was terrible! The number of cars and other vehicles on the freeway was unbelievable. This was on Thanksgiving Day! Worse that I’ve ever seen. Now for my stay, it was the best room and related facilities offered, including professional services and booking. The ****** was filled with fumes from smoking customers, but this was to be expected. Otherwise, everything else was clean, well maintained, and available. I wish the Buffet was opened, but best wishes I can only pray for. My dinner was good except when a person is used to their dinner Mom used to cook don’t match, it can be a little disappointing. However, the final outcome was satisfactory. I would do it again. The travel returning home was better because I left early 5:30 a.m.

This is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. We booked a regular king room. It was EXTREMELY dusty and felt stuffy/unclean. We immediately asked for a new room and told them what was going on. The front desk was really understanding about it and gave us an upgraded room for no additional charge which was much better. The staff is amazing, I wish I remember the name of the guy who helped us. And it is extremely close and walking distance to all the restaurants, mid gaslamp. However, I just didn’t enjoy the hotel itself overall.

location was decent and hotel staff was friendly. elevator was interesting at first but after a day or so having to open the heavy gate was a pain. rooms were basic and a little noisy.
