Very quaint historic hotel in the middle of Kumara, not far from Greymouth.
The room was clean and updated, as was the bathroom, with a great shower.
Only one disappointing feature was that we could hear the rain on the adjacent roof, but if it hadn’t rained, then it would be perfect. Lovely meal in the restaurant too!

It was only after I found out that there was a large cemetery behind the hotel, which was still full of jealousy for Asians. There is no air conditioning in the room and it is still very hot in summer. The hotel is not very soundproof. Other facilities are not bad.

The hotel belongs to the typical Holiday Park. There is a public kitchen, bathroom and shower room. It is a bit cold in winter, but the heating is very good. After the quilt is there, the clerk is now letting us take it. The hygiene can only be said to be acceptable. It’s not very convenient to get the door, but there are children playing, and the children are happy.

The check-in experience was very good. The old lady at the front desk was very welcoming and responsive to all our requests. In the end, she extended our check-out time until 12 noon. The facilities in the room are complete, and you can also cook. There is a large supermarket near the hotel, only 5 minutes away, which is extremely convenient. Worth staying. She explained the use of the key, power supply and air conditioner. She also told me that the supermarket is close to the hotel. The supermarket is quite big. Everything is complete. The rooms are clean. Greymouth is a big town. There are many shops and people. Dinner is at the restaurant at the entrance of Pancake Rock, not near the hotel.
