From start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!

I and my husband for the second time spent a wonderful week from 7th to 14th december 2018 at Smartline Eriyadu. Everything was wonderful. As soon as we arrived in Malè the boat was waiting for us and in 50 minutes took as at the resort. Romm was close to the seaside, clean, big and very comfortable with a maldivian bathroom (the shouwer was open air). We were in full board basis and all meals were very good expecially for people accustomed at spicy and hot taste, less for european but there were always pasta, fish and meat done at the moment. A lot of fruits and delicious cakes. the reef is good plenty of fish, we swam with turtle, nurse sharks ...we have done the boat trip to manta point and turtle point, so we saw mantas and a lot of turtles, it's worth spend 92 usd. I was at Eriyadu also in december 2017 and from last year they had renovated all rooms and added a kids room. I recommed this resort and trip.com

I went there for the first time in 2019. The hotel had just been built. It was called North Luxe at that time, and now it is called Jumeirah. Among the more than 10 hotels I have stayed in, it is the only hotel that can rent windsurfing and various manual water sports equipment for free (I heard that the Jumeirah Hotel in the Maldives where I stayed 10 years ago has now been renamed another hotel). In particular, the hotel is very considerate in protecting the safety of tourists. There are lifeguards sitting on a high platform on the beach, always watching the sea. There is also a lifeguard on the lookout at the end of the water house, and the field of vision can cover most of the water sports area, ensuring that unskilled water kayaking, windsurfing and swimming tourists are accidentally swept away by the tide! Breakfast is good in all aspects. Although the dining environment of Japanese food for dinner is good, I will definitely not order Japanese sashimi next time. I would rather bring a few more boxes of instant noodles. Special thanks to the employee who works at the water sports equipment rental office in the first photo, who looks the oldest and tallest. Every day when I rented a windsurfing, the staff would carefully check the sails and repeatedly remind me to pay attention to safety. On the first day, they were worried that I would be blown away and unable to return, so they taught me how to save myself and swim back. I hope the hotel can convey my gratitude. Next time I come to the Maldives, I will definitely return to Jumeirah Hotel again.

This is an island I will definitely come back to after visiting Maldives 5 times. There is no excessive construction and decoration here, and you can experience a more natural island. This island is not big, but the service quality is very high. It can be seen that the resort management is very attentive, and the care for customers is very detailed and makes people feel undisturbed. During my stay on the island, I was the only Chinese. The room and restaurant staff prepared a birthday surprise for me. They sent red wine in the morning and prepared birthday cakes and blessings in the evening, which made me feel very warm. I like the combination of ordering and buffet in the resort. The snorkeling in the resort is also great. I saw many turtles and various fish. If you have the opportunity, you must experience the snorkeling activities on the island. It is great to have a special person to lead the experience. The snorkeling activities with nurse sharks are very shocking! Thanks to all the staff on the island, I will definitely come back!

The most beautiful holidays I've had so far. That's how I imagine paradise.   Arrival Arriving at Male airport for the first time is an experience, the airport is on an island itself and after leaving the airport all you see is clear blue water. Instead of taxis there are speedboats picking up tourists. Kagi island is about 1h by speedboat away (which is practically the better choice for Kagi, since the distance is small and water planes mean much more logistical effort. If you never flew with a water plane and want to experience it, do it on the way back). When we arrived on the island, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and bongo music which was super nice. Maria made us feel like home from the first minute and showed us everything important before leaving us to explore our own place.   Room We booked a pool villa in the sea which was beyond beautiful. The room is big and offers everything you need. Shampoo / conditioner is refilled every day, there is cream and after sun gel, you basically only need sun cream (also available on the island in a shop). The room has its own pool over the ocean and even though I didn't think I would use it, I ended up being in there every evening enjoying the sunset. Same applies for the bathtub, which was in the outside part of the bathroom, I spent some very relaxing evenings in there even when the weather was warm. The only thing to consider, the waves can be loud and crush into the outside of your pool, especially during the night this can be irritating if you have a light sleep. I usually use earplugs, so I didn't bother, but my partner struggled quite a lot. There are other villas with wave breakers in front, can't say if this makes a big difference but I guess so. The downside is the view is not the same with the breakers and for snorkeling it’s harder to get to the nice part of the reef. I would still go for the villas without breakers.   Location The island is small but still offers everything you need. The reef is extremely beautiful, just jump in the water with goggles and you see all kinds of fishes, even some small sharks sometimes. As a diver I can say, the reef was more interesting to explore than many dives I had in my life. The Spa is great and offers various treatments. There is also a modern gym and you can participate in the Yoga lessons every other day. I enjoyed the lessons a lot, even as a total beginner. I already miss them, might start doing Yoga myself now. :) There is also a small diving center. The dive guide was basically always available to us, very flexible and cool. We went for 11 dives in total and we were not disappointed. All of them were special and interesting. We didn't have to worry about anything, the boat brought us directly to the spots and picked us up after each dive, the crew was very professional and experienced. This was amazing place, even despite coming in October during rainy season. Service was exceptional from the begging- person awaiting us on the airport, speed boat transfer late evening, with nice welcome and service (water/towels/wifi) We arrived late evening, so dinner packages were ready in the room. All Incl package was nice however we missed some food in between breakf-lunch and dinner. Issue is wifi which was not working properly/everywhere. Normally i think its ok as we do not need internet on such vacations, but as we needed to work one day it was hard. Again anyways. Great service. Hospitality of staff in restaurant and bar too. Also reception who gave us a chance of later checkout. It was very convenient as we travelled with 2yrs old toddler. Room was spacious, kept clean every day properly + water bottles delivered daily. Good snorkling trips for free provided daily.
