Very Good
AAdibahRecommended.... The hotel is very close to the Jetty... the staff are all friendly and very helpful... the breakfast menu is delicious and a variety of menus... I just recommend preparing a room for ironing clothes... I stayed for 2 nights... the next day 2 cleaners clean the room and change towels...

We had a room facing the supermarket and food court. We could also see the sea views from our room.
Breakfast was simple basic local food.
Although the Hotel is about 8 to 10 mins drive from the harbour, it has few good local eateries around.
The Hotel was undergoing some renovations when we were there. It's definitely a good move by the Hotel to upgrade their existing rooms conditions.
The only thing that was bad about the Hotel is their sound proofing! It really needs to be given an immediate attention to rectify this issue.
The Hotel has a Discotheque on the 3rd floor and although we were on the 6th floor, we could still hear the music till late at night!
Overall, yes I would come back to stay at this hotel nexr few years.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is abit old. Initially when i entered the room, the floor is quite dirty with shreds all over the place and the aircon is not cold. But when i feedback to the staff, they are very friendly and had sent an engineer to fix the aircon. The bedsheets and pillow is quite rough and the bathtub is abit old too but could not be expect much with the amount being paid. One good thing about this hotel is the fridge is actually quite cold as compared to some big hotels. My mineral water was minimally frozen?!! There are also restaurants and a mart nearby so its actually not bad to stay.

Eesiska monfor the first experience of a holiday at Balai Karimun. This hotel has a pretty good location, you can walk, lots of food choices around. clean and friendly all the staff.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located facing the sea, but unfortunately none of the three rooms we arranged faced the sea, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel has a swimming pool, which is very good. The breakfast needs to be improved. The service attitude of the hotel staff is ok but their English needs to be improved. If you want to have a good rest, this hotel is a good choice, but next time I will definitely choose a hotel facing the sea.

Below were the defective items:
1. Shower water heater sprinkler was not proper function.
2. Toilet bowl water tank was shaking and water seeping out.
3. Clothing cabinet hanger bar not firm, dropping easily.
4. Wifi VERY weak, inside the room unable to connect, must go outside corridor.
5. Hand washing sink water tap function defectively.

GGuest UserGood location, near to city center. Staff very friendly and helpful. She helped us to book a taxi for a short island tour. Facilities wise reasonable. Breakfast provided was normal. The food outside the hotel is considered okay and reasonably priced.
