The hotel was clean
Reception took a while to come to book us in and the supervisor was polite but not friendly
The car parking is poor due to posts making it hard to park easily

A nice hotel with a short walk of 12 minutes to the high street or 20 minutes to the station. The bus station is very close about an 8 minute walk.

I would have given this a 5 star review if the staff during the day had a taken on board my concerns and offered a little gratuity for my inconvenience. My extractor fan was on constantly in the bathroom, the door latch on the bathroom door was broken so I couldn’t block out the noise of the extractor fan and the hot water dial for the shower was broken so had to persevere with a cold shower / stand up wash from the sink.

I had a terrible experience at Travelodge. The staff were inexperienced, impolite, and unhelpful. Basic requests were ignored, and customer service was nonexistent. Definitely not worth the stay

This has been the best Travelodge yet. I have stayed at a few. It's friendly,warm, clean and my room was spotless, warm and inviting, not as small as other Travelodge hotels. The room was spacious. The little cafe/breakfast area was really nice, lots of breakfast stuff and the menu was not overpriced. The staff were lovely. This is one that I would call cosy all round. When you first see it you could be put off looking at the outside but ignore that, it's lovely inside.🥰

Rooms and corridors smelt of vomit. Drunk folk at reception. Difficult to access the hotel with double parking.
