The hotel focuses on retreat and leisure, but at this price, the facilities of the hotel did not surprise me. There is no TV in the room. This reason is true, but the housekeeper said that the TV promoted by the hotel could be moved over, but it was not given after waiting for an hour. The whole park is also very small, and it takes ten minutes to walk around. It is really incomparable with the big hotels. The flush toilet is antique (forgot to take a photo), and the rope is pulled from the water tank above. It looks good, but it is very loud, and the splashing water is very big. The only thing that can be said is the service. The afternoon tea and good night desserts are well arranged, and the breakfast is also OK. There is nothing around the hotel. You can only drive ten minutes to eat nearby, or you can choose to have meals in the hotel if you are not short of money. How to say, Internet celebrity hotels may be like this, don't expect too much. At this price, I think it is better to bear the pain and pay more to stay at the Luxe. Otherwise, choose a big hotel.

Overall I was pleased with my stay at the Kaixuan hotel. Great large room with a very comfy bed, good air conditioning system, nice bathroom and a small fridge (not cool enough to my taste though). Large indoor swimming pool (head/hair covering required). Good gym/fitness. Nice helpful staff at the reception (no English spoken except for one young lady). Though it is technically downtown I suppose if feels a bit remote. A quiet area facing the river. Public transportation is available via one single route (no 8). It is almost a 2 Km walk to the central railway station for the local trains (not the high speed ones). Not many eating opportunities immediately around so eating out requires to walk 1 to 1.5 Km.

The next day I went to Detian Transnational Waterfall to play, and arrived at Chongzuo one day in advance. The high-speed rail station is 10 minutes by taxi from the hotel.
