A very nice and clean hotel in the middle of the city. Shops and restaurants are nearby. Although the staff did not speak English, they were very helpful and nice to us. We would definitely come again!

I came to take the exam on the weekend. I originally wanted to book a hotel at random, but I decided to book this hotel after seeing that it was newly opened and the price was cheap. The location is very good, right in Taiping Ancient Town. You can enjoy the beautiful night view of the ancient town from the balcony! The boss seemed to be from Sichuan and was very enthusiastic and helped me carry my luggage upstairs. The room is relatively spacious and clean, with basic facilities. The only drawback is that there is no elevator from the underground garage to the inn, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. The service at the front desk of the inn was poor, and the details were not well controlled. For example, it said it was free parking, but it was not clearly stated that every time we go out, we need to register at the front desk first. We thought that it was enough to register the license plate number when we checked in, but we were still told that we had already paid for parking. fee. Overall I was pleased with my stay at the Kaixuan hotel. Great large room with a very comfy bed, good air conditioning system, nice bathroom and a small fridge (not cool enough to my taste though). Large indoor swimming pool (head/hair covering required). Good gym/fitness. Nice helpful staff at the reception (no English spoken except for one young lady). Though it is technically downtown I suppose if feels a bit remote. A quiet area facing the river. Public transportation is available via one single route (no 8). It is almost a 2 Km walk to the central railway station for the local trains (not the high speed ones). Not many eating opportunities immediately around so eating out requires to walk 1 to 1.5 Km.

The hotel facilities are complete and the service is particularly warm! The air conditioning temperature is balanced and the hot water bath is very comfortable. It is worthy of being an old high-end hotel! Authentic, delicious morning and evening tea at an affordable price! The service provided by the young lady on duty was especially good. I forgot something in the lobby with my family, and she immediately arranged for it to be sent back with just one phone call! All in all, great!
