No matter how time changes in the future, the hostel will continue to be an affordable backpacker home tailored for travel enthusiasts who have ideals, love to play, and can go and stop at any time. The Home for Travel Friends, Home for Cycling Friends, and Home for Student Party Members will also welcome family and friends of any nationality, color, and age with an open mind. The hostel is located in a single-family courtyard in Baixiang Street Pedestrian Street, Jiefangbei Business District in the center of Chongqing. Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Yangtze River Cableway, Shibati Ladder, Baixiangju and other must-see attractions can be reached in about ten minutes on foot. , the hostel has a beautiful environment, is clean and hygienic, has a public activity area of more than 200 square meters, all facilities are well-equipped, and all rooms are carefully decorated, aiming to provide a comfortable and relaxing accommodation experience for our friends. It provides wireless WIFI, minibar, central air conditioning, fresh air system, 24-hour hot water, laundry service, travel consultation, 24-hour front desk service, and electric bicycle service. Special reminder: 1. Yuejiang Laoyuan Youth Hostel is the most original youth hostel model. Our services will be meticulous, but there will not be overly commercial services, and we will sell them based on beds. 2. Chongqing is an 8D magic city with complicated roads. The hostel is amazing ! I was received in the middle of the night, and the hostess was really nice with me the whole stay. Really great view from the lobby bar. I would definitely recommend it :) 🌸

Everything was good. It's not that hard to find as people write. The location is amazing, everything is pretty close, but when you come back you don't struggle with the crowd. The room was clean with a nice city view. It had a shampoo and shower gel in the shower, free sleepers in the room.
The hostel has a laundry that costs 8 RMB.
The host was extremely friendly and ready to help with everything. Even helped me to find a location from the photo. She doesn't speak English so every conversation was through the translator. But it was comfortable

We had a very good time in this hostel. It’s easy to find and a good location to explore center Chongqing. The hosts were very friendly and would help with everything you need. The beds are a bit hard but they are not bad. Our room had a beautiful river view.

I had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn’t feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists.
Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

Good location by the river. The rooms are big but you can feel the air is not circulating properly. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The public area was a bit too messy and not very appealing to hang out at.

Great hostel with kind people working. Clean rooms with good AC, even too good sometimes. Showers with hot water although require some maintenance. Very good location in Chongqing, cannot imagine a better place for low budget travellers.

Had a lovely stay here at Riverside. I stayed in both the budget dorm and deluxe dorm and both are really nice. They are adjusting and learning about westerner travellers and have now added seated toilets in the rooms, really good toilet paper and soap. They even gave me an extra duvet blanket to lie on, was super cozy. Staff were all so lovely and happy to help with anything to make sure you have the best stay. Highly recommend Riverside International Youth Hostel

It was very easy to book and they kept in contact throughout my whole stay. The location was in the heart of the city, with a great view of the Yangtze river.
It was very clean.
It was not a full room, but more like a capsule, but I think it was worth the price.
The other travelers were very mindful of the others privacy.

Riverside Hostel was fantastic! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location by the river was perfect. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!
