Resturant was great food was great, didnt stay but beautiful setting in the sun we live 5 mins away but havent used it for years as it was terrible but new owners and great staff, looking forward to the live music in the summer, the whole place has a different vibe

My wife Rosie & I dined at the White on the recommendation of our Air BnB host and were not disappointed. We enjoyed an excellent meal accompanied by good wine with excellent customer service. The Hotel, Bar & Restaurant is charming and we were delighted with our choice. The White Hart is conveniently situated for those visiting (an often overcrowded) Castle Combe and we would have no hesitation in dining there again.

From the moment you arrive at The Whitehart untill you leave you are treated so well you felt special by all the staff The whitehart is a beautiful building set in the most beautiful surroundings The breakfast lunch and dinner are all really taste full The twin room was very clean and spacious The place is situated with easy access to Castle Coombes and other cotswold towns and villages So looking forward to returning next year Thank you

This is a lovely building in a gorgeous location. The rooms are beautifully styled, with coffee machines included. We were woken at 3am by a group of drunk guests who made a lot of noise. Ideally groups would be situated on the ground floor to reduce the impact on other guests so doors slamming/stomping around upon their return doesn't wake everyone else. We felt the drinks were a little overpriced, and for what we paid we would expect breakfast to be included, however, the breakfast offering was great from the granola to the eggs benedict. I will return, but if we were watching our pennies we may choose to have dinner and a cocktail elsewhere first.

Lovely B&B in picturesque setting. Comfort room with coffee machine and gorgeous toiletries. Delicious food - I had an evening meal and cooked breakfast during my stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a great night's sleep. Would recommend.

I booked this hotel for three nights and paid in full in advance. The first night was great — the staff were kind, professional, and everything felt welcoming. However, on the second night, I went to visit another town and returned to the hotel at 10:45 PM. To my shock, the entire hotel was completely shut down. Every door was locked. There was no one at reception, no staff, no instructions, nothing. I had no access to the building I had paid for. I called the police — no answer. I called the hotel — no one picked up. I was alone and stuck outside. After a long and stressful search, I finally discovered that the back door to the hotel was unlocked, and with some effort, I managed to push it open and get back to my room. Once inside, I realized I was the only person in the hotel — no staff, no security, no one. The hotel had zero safety measures, which is completely unacceptable. I am staying here for two more nights, which are already paid for, but I am extremely disappointed and concerned. If anything had happened to me during that time, the hotel would be fully responsible. How can a hotel — especially on a Saturday night — have no one at the front desk after 10:45 PM? And if that’s their policy, why wasn’t I told in advance that I needed to return before a certain hour? There is no communication, no support, and no security. This level of negligence is shocking and absolutely unacceptable.
