The Neighborhood Hotel - Little Italy Two Bedroom w Balcony

Our room was spacious and quiet. There is so much to do nearby and easy to catch a bus or the L to downtown or the airport. We wandered around the neighborhood and toured the UIC campus and the Pilsen neighborhood. The room was clean and having the kitchen was great since I worked during the days. The hotel staff did a great job communicating with me and answering my questions. The check in and check out process was incredibly simple. I wish more hotels adopted this process. We will definitely stay here again. It’s our new favorite hotel in Chicago.

The location is very convenient being close to campus. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows need to be replaced as they were very worn, although the bedding was nice. The freezer needs to have ice trays since there is no ice machine in the building. The bathroom needs additional towel racks and the shower needs a soap holder. The rug needs to be shampooed because it was severely stained. And there needs to be a way to manage noisy neighbors. For two nights, I dealt with rumbling and stomping in the room above me that would start around 11:30pm.

Amazing room. Clean and comfortable. I was only there for 2 nights so didn’t use all the facilities but the kitchenette seemed to have everything I could possibly need. I had a tiny complaint during my stay and someone was there in about 5-10 minutes of sending an email. Great location as well, surrounded by restaurants

I recently stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with family. The rooms were bigger than I expected, with the windows and tall ceilings making the entire place feel open and spacious. We enjoyed the large balcony with a great view of downtown. The beds , linens, and pillows were all very comfortable. I know this location is relatively new, but honestly it was so clean it felt like we were the first people to use it! We didn’t cook but appreciated eating take out with real plates and utensils. I really enjoyed the coffee maker - usually I stay away from hotel coffee because I don’t trust the cleanliness of the coffee pot and water reservoir. This was easy to take apart and clean and the coffee provided was good. I’ll definitely stay here again! I’ve paid $$$ to stay at the Langham and prefer this place :)

This is my second stay at this property this year. On both occasions I was there for just over a week. The location is handy to lots of local bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the Pink Line which will have you downtown in about 5 stops. It's also a short car ride south to Pilsen or North to the West Loop or Greektown. The rooms are excellent. Well thought out, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen . They even have little olive oils, balsamic and hot sauce as well as cleaning products and even laundry pouches. This is my go to place for multi day stays in Chicago. I've stayed in a number of venues in Chicago but this is the only one I've come back too.

Great couple of days with my daughters. We stayed in room 504 or should I say apartment 504 :-) Two bedroom, two bath, kitchen, w/d and small terrace with a GREAT view. Clean and quiet. What more could you ask for? We checked in early and we were able to store our luggage which was plus. No front desk? No problem! Extremely quick responses to texting or email. Try Stax Cafe, Tuscany on Taylor and Heritage Restaurant and Caviar Bar and you won't be disappointed. Stax and Tuscany are easy walk to's, Heritage is just a 20 minute-ish drive away.
