SHIN Hotel Chiangmai Gate

Very cosy little hotel. Completely unmanned except for the cleaning service. The room was very nicely decorated and the location is close to the center and facilities. Parking outside is virtually non-existent (even for scooters) so beware

Good location outside of the old city. Rooms were great, we had the whole hotel to ourselves. The only thing we would've enjoyed more would've been a flexible policy on late checkout, as there were no other guests in the hotel during our stay. Otherwise, no complaints. We had our room cleaned every day, wifi worked, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our short stay in Chiang Mai.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Lanna-style accommodation in Chiang Mai, and I must say I was truly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, I could feel the warm atmosphere and the charm of Lanna art that was beautifully incorporated into every corner of the property. The wooden carved furniture, traditional Thai patterns, and soft lighting made it feel like I had stepped back in time. The location is excellent, situated near Chiang Mai's city gate, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city and its attractions. Whether it’s strolling down the Sunday Walking Street, visiting ancient temples, or sampling local cuisine, everything is easily accessible. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. Everyone was friendly, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with a particularly comfortable bed that ensured a perfect night's sleep. If you’re looking for a place that captures the unique essence of Chiang Mai and offers a convenient location, I highly recommend this accommodation. I hope to have the chance to stay here again in the future

Very good, comfortable

I really like this place. It is very convenient to walk to Chiang Mai Gate. In the morning and evening, there are many food options in the old city. The accommodation is very chill. In the evening, we can sit and enjoy the atmosphere in the quiet and atmospheric local community. Near the accommodation, there is a local grilled fish shop that is very delicious. If I have a chance, I will definitely come back to stay again.
