At Tree Hotel Thaphae Gate Chiangmai

This was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip. It was newly renovated about eight months ago and is generally a pleasant hotel. However, the bathroom design and safety could be improved. There is no separate shower area, so guests have to shower in the bathtub. The drainage is inadequate, and water easily spills onto the bathroom floor. There was also a glass item near the washbasin with a plastic-covered base, which became slippery when wet. It slipped and broke while I was brushing my teeth, causing me to suffer a cut. The hotel should review these bathroom fittings and address the safety concerns to prevent similar incidents. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the famous Tha Phae Gate and the Sunday Walking Street. It is also easy to get around, as Grab services are readily available in the area.

It’s really nice beautiful hotel, large room, large bed, nice pool, good location, staffs are nice, etc. but there’s one thing unbearable was the smell from the toilet, it was awful. And also there was construction site next door, a bit noisy

Located at the old city! Nice location easy access to everywhere. Lobby’s smell wasn’t good but overall is good ❤️ big rooms!

Amazing location close to everything. The staff were incredible and the facilities were amazing

Great location with friendly staffs and good breakfast, we really enjoyed our stays and will be back.

Very nice small hotel located just outside the city wall. There’s a small swimming pool to relax. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Room very nice. Bed si comfortable. Will stay here again for sure.
