It did the job for our needs , it’s a budget hotel just on the outskirts and easy walk into the centre . Needs a better dusting and fixing a hole in the wall in our room . Free car park for your stay though which is good . Friendly enough guy checked us in .

We stayed in a family room which was very simple , dated but spacious, the room had plenty of sockets , a kettle with the usual coffee and tea etc and a wardrobe which resembled the one from NARNIA the film lol lol , the beds were ok and it had a smart tv so we could use our netflix acc on it . The hotel offers free WiFi and free parking . Food till 9pm and a games area with free pool and table football . Don't get me wrong we didn't have a bad stay in this hotel but I will agree on the breakfast , it wasnt great , we all left half of it , we just didn't like it and the rooms were noisy due to being on a main rd either side of the hotel . But other than that it it was ok 👍 We have stayed in chester several times and the walk in to the town at this end was full of street drinkers and homeless . Not a sight for family's believe me ,

Room very basic, hot and stuffy. Unable to open a window because my room was over a really busy road. Lots of traffic noise and sirens throughout the night. Carpet badly stained, mould in the shower. Wasn’t an awful stay, the bed was reasonably comfy and location was very close to Chester centre. Don’t think I’d book again. Had breakfast, full English advertised as a hearty breakfast. Ingredients were of very low quality, turkey bacon which was more fat than bacon, fried egg cooked for 10 minutes longer than necessary, 2 very unappealing sausages and a dozen lukewarm baked beans. Not great.

Booked months ago arrived at check in time room MOT ready had to sit and wait, room was a single worth a double bed squeezed in 1 bedside cabinet, 1 single wardrobe, pillows for 1, no toilet roll, 1 cup. We booked a double room and did not get that. The only way into bed on one side was to walk on bed no room on the side. The only good point is they had a car park It was only a few minutes walk into the centre of town

Horrible place. Never seen that free toilet roll advertised. Windows so opaque through filth and shut (no fresh air). So hot, not able to sleep. Very noisy both from within as people come and go and without from boy racers and police sirens. No front desk. Ring a mobile number if there is a problem but only until midnight. It advertises a picture of a small garden with tables and flowers. That does not exist. I could go on but suffice to say, I'd rather sleep under North Gate than there again. I hope this helps.

Early days at George and Dragon I didn’t have a kettle or mug to start with and tv didn’t work but a device was purchased by hosts to make it work . The new mattress was too hard an orthopaedic type for me as I have arthritis. Up 4 flights of stairs was tricky leaving with my case. Lights were on everywhere even when no one in sight
