Good for a short stay – standout staff member deserves recognition I stayed here for one night. The hotel itself is fine for a short stay, but it would definitely benefit from some redecoration and modernisation. The room was clean, with fresh towels and linen, which I appreciated. While I was aware at the time of booking that the hotel doesn’t serve evening meals or have a full restaurant, its location quite far from the town centre makes this more of an inconvenience. It would really benefit from having an onsite dining option. The standout part of my stay was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but one young gentleman working in the kitchen during breakfast really went above and beyond. He greeted guests politely, asked if they needed anything, cleared tables promptly, and even held doors open for people. He was genuinely a credit to the team—hardworking, courteous, and professional. I hope someone in management or corporate sees this and recognises his potential within the hospitality industry.

Like staying on a building site, parking restricted, no restaurant and the room needs a deep clean and being aired, smelled musty.

No WiFi, dirty bathroom, smelly corridors, felt like a tired and neglected student bedsit. At least there was parking onsite and a Waitrose next door to get food.

The free car park was fantastic. Half an hour walk into town or a bus that regularly passes the hotel (94) We visited during a heatwave so arriving to find the air-con on in the room was a lifesaver!

Great location, not far from regular buses to Cheltenham town centre which took just 10 mins When we arrived, it was 35 Deg c. We checked in with two lovely ladies, who told us they'd already got the Aircon on in our room as it was so hot. What a wonderful and thoughtful gesture, which was greatly appreciated. The room was comfy, and laid out like it should be. Clean and tidy too. Couldn't ask for more. There was free parking here too, and lots of it.
