Hôtel le Grand Val

Decent location with supermarket and restaurant adjacent. Lift to all floors, and good ramp as alternative to steps to front door. Reception was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was non-standard compared with other BandB's, and there was a deep step up into the bathroom which was a challenge in the night. The hotel was very quiet. There is a fairly smart restaurant next door, and there is also an offer of various dishes that can be ordered through the hotel - it was unclear to us how this worked - presumably to be eaten in one's room? Plentiful breakfast, but brrakfast room extremely small for number of users, so it was very difficult to move around at all. Good parking in front of hotel and in parking lot behind, also chargeable underground car park.

Easy to find next to a main road. Ample parking available including an underground garage (for a small fee), which was great as we were travelling on motorcycles. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had problems with a leaking toilet cistern and a stuck plug in the washbasin. The staff are very polite and friendly. Breakfast is ok but get there early as the room is very small for the size of the hotel.

Na een panne met de wagen in dit hotel terecht gekomen in afwachting van de herstelling door de garage. Ondanks het late uur toch nog iets te eten gekregen en goed ondersteund geweest door de uitbater Mr. Sébastien, waarvoor dank! Propere kamer trouwens en gemakkelijk digitaal inchecksysteem!

Na een defect met de wagen hier terecht gekomen in afwachting van de herstelling door de garage. Gemakkelijk geboekt en digitaal ingecheckt. Ondanks het late uur nog iets kunnen eten en goed ondersteund geweest door de uitbater Mr. Sébastien, waarvoor dank!

Notre chambre était située côté rue donc les voitures qui passaient sans arrêt c'était infernale...abusé pour le prix de la chambre... Et alors pour le petit déjeuner il fesait tellement froid ds la salle qu'on s'est empressé de vite finir, avec les températures négatives dehors un peu plus de chauffage aurait fait le plus grand bien et de plus pas très varié et cher... Très déçu

Matelas sur planche en bois et non sommier (inconfortable à souhait) et qualité du matelas très bof !! Pas d oreiller supplémentaire Prise d'une douche à 22h = froide Par-douche court, la salle de bain montée sur estrade est inondée ! La porte en est même attaquée et décrépie, la propreté était correct sans non plus que ça soit reluisant ! Nuit affreusement inconfortable / pas de volet / rideau à peine occultant avec des trous dedans. Une seule prise à côté du lit, pas de poubelle hormis dans la salle de bain. Réveil avec les portes qui claquent à partir de 6h du mat' Tentative de douche à 9h30 = toujours pas d eau chaude ! Classé 3 étoiles ?! Une belle blague ! Hormis un chouillat plus de place, il n'a rien de plus qu'un F1 ! Extrêmement déçue !!
