We have visited this location several times from Canada over last 3 years ( visiting family). On all occasions the staff were extremely accomadating letting us check in early, to keeping our room stocked up with tea, milk etc. The rooms are very spacious , clean & comfortable. Location is to rear of The Horse public house, where you have breakfast which is included , there is huge choices from English breakfast to light breakfast ( my favorite Avocado on toast with poached eggs ). The bar is open with very good food in evenings Overall we love this location would always choose here when visiting family Thankyou & keep up the good work

The room was lovely, clean, comfortable bed, modern, nice coffee machine and tea making facilities. Bathroom was lovely. What spoilt our stay was we have never experienced a noisier room. Obviously this is partially down to luck. The people underneath us may as well have been in the same room. We could hear each and every word they said and everything they did! Literally 🤮 There must be no sound proofing between rooms. Shame as otherwise it was nice!

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely room at a great price. Also part of a fantastic pub. Fab food and really nice friendly staff. Right on the main road just outside the town. Could not ask for more and would definitely stay again. Stayed as a couple.

We booked two rooms at the Barn Courtyard as we were attending a graduation at Loughborough Uni. Firstly this is only about three miles away and really easy to find. More importantly, the rooms are excellent, very nice quality fixtures and furnishings and spotless. Comfortable beds, mini toiletries, tea, coffee, water, makeup remover, fan, kettle, fridge, iron and board, hairdryer and brolly provided. Loads of parking. The pub is very friendly, great menu and the breakfast was superb. Staff were very friendly and made check in-out, very simple. I would definitely use this again when in the area and would highly recommend.

Love this place stayed a few times when visiting friends in Shepshed such friendly staff the manager so friendly and can’t do enough for you - the rooms lovely stayed in a superior room well worth it lovely breakfast there was 11 of us had a meal on 27th December birthday celebration beautiful food and service can’t wait to go back !

We were met by the lovely Lisa, who instantly made us feel welcome. The pub itself is really cosy, well stocked well maintained and the food was excellent, every dish we had was top class. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, amazing quality and attention to detail. The rooms were really comfortable, spotlessly clean and modern. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Shower was fabulously powerful. We loved the extras luxury touches of wonderful teas and a choice of coffees. In short we cannot wait to return, the whole team are really helpful and proud of the place, as they should be. I didn’t want to leave, considered squatting 😁

This was a gem of a find. Clean and tidy.rooms with all you need. Smart TV, usb socket, posh coffee maker, shower etc and comfy bed. Right next to a pub (the horse) 🐴 which did amazing meals and breakfast. The staff were friendly and the pub was warm and cosy and great to see a local pub full on a Friday night. If your going, pre book a table.

On arrival the member of staff who showed us to the room was a delight Food was amazing. Yes parts of the pub were dated but it sort of added to the ambiance. We pointed out several issues with the room which included very noisy neighbours both next door and above. Cleanliness of certain areas of the room. Dirty spare pillow. Uncomfortable mattress The girl who served us breakfast, who I believe to have been called Kerry was very kind, understanding and professional Sadly not likely to stay again

We stayed here for one night and hope to stay again. The rooms had everything we needed, comfortable beds, TV, iron and board, hairdryer, coffee maker and even a fridge. The restaurant is across the car park and we had a great evening meal and breakfast there, ( breakfast is included in the price, just order it the night before )
