First time in last 40 years , I witnessed a rude, rough attitude , no care for listening , threatened and finally he refused the room and asked me to leave when I reached 10 pm after driving from Atlanta. The guy claimed himself as a general manager, repeated saying he is the authority and something is really wrong with the person. When I try to check in by showing my ID, he showed that $100 deposit to stay. If it is cash I will get back on the day of leaving the hire if it is CC, it will take 10 days. So I told him that I called the hotel two times and those two times, none told that being cash, Immediately this fellow said ( who claim himself as GM,) he doesn’t want long explanation and want me to say yes or no to pay $100 or not . I thought it must a long day for him and I told him , he can be little more hospitable and try to listen what I want to say. He said no I do not want to listen and immediately he said , “ I refuse room” leave the hotel. In my last 40 years of travel exp , I always respect people and extend my courtesy. If this hotel owner doesn’t see this fellow’s attitude towards the customer ( I am not the first person who faces this low class, irresponsible and ****** kind of an attitude) their hard work of managing the hotel will go for toss. Mostly I stay in Baymont groups and this one is a very horrible experience.
