I paid over $500 for a week-long stay, primarily due to the hotel's proximity to where I needed to be and the Tesla charging station. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by poor service and practices. Yard maintenance staff were allowed to use a **** whacker near my car, causing dirt, rocks, and grass to be thrown all over it while I was charging. Even worse, hotel staff parked their large trucks in EV charging spots, blocking them from paying customers like me. They parked so close that their doors almost hit my car, and they weren't charged the $1 per minute idle fee that would apply to EV users. The hotel also charges extra for using the Tesla chargers, which I wasn’t informed about, and I was shocked to find a $1/minute idle fee if you leave your car plugged in after it’s fully charged. Meanwhile, staff parked in these spots with no consequences. When I complained, the front desk offered me a $20 car wash, which didn’t come close to addressing the issues. I have video evidence of everything and will be sharing this experience widely unless something is done to resolve it.
