체크인 전 메일로 체크인 방법에 대한 고지가 있었으나, (오후 3시쯤 도착)미리 확인 안하고 방문해서 30분~1시간 겁나 방황. 미리 꼭 확인할 것. 리셉션에 호스트는 없고, 호텔 메세지로 추가 이불 등 관련해서 연락 줌. 방배정이 예약과 달라 어필한 후 예약한 방으로 재배정. 모든 소통을 인터넷전화로 함. 히터를 틀었으나, 잠자는동안 혼자 꺼져서 좀 추웠음. 복층 2베드(더블+소파베드) 구조였는데 화장실이 더블베드있는 윗층에만 있어서 오르내리기 좀 힘들었음. 객실 이동에 엘리베이터 없음. 주차는 숙소 앞 길가 노상주차임. 바닷가, 구시가지 모두 가까워 산책하고 돌아다니기 좋았음. 커피제공이 끝내줬음. 냉장고에 물 두 병 있었음.

How lucky I was to have chosen Notus Hotel! Perfect central location in old Chania town and yet quiet and peaceful. All points of interest are within walking distance as are excellent restaurants and bars. The room is well equiped; A/C, comfortable large bed, fridge (which had water, a beer and small bottle of wine for free), kettle, coffee machine, plates and cutlery. The bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo and soap. All is soptless! Loved the Saturday street market bemow my balcony! The owner, Manolis, is the perfect host! He is there to greet you in the morning and you can ask him about anything, always helpful and he gives great advice on where to go and what not to miss. And a big thank you to Monica, who is part of the cleaning staff, for he good mood and kind smile you offer every morning. If I come back to Chania, I’ll be back at Notus !

What a fantastic find. The hotel was excellently located, extremely clean and everything for your comfort was thought of. As a solo traveller I felt so safe and very taken care of at Notus. The staff were delightful and there with help at every turn. You are in the heart of Chania but on the quiet side. Saturday morning market is fabulous such a lively time. I can’t wait to return.

We stayed at this "hotel' in our holidays in Oktober. It was awful hotel in a very very very noisy area. Every night we saw drunk people outside the street and young guys riding their motorcycles!!! We had a baby and this hotel it was not appropriate for babies or children. We wake up on a Saturday morning and outside thew hotel were full of kiosks selling vegetables. I will not reccommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of hotels around much better and more quiet and peaceful.

The location is brilliant for exploring Chania. Manolis is the perfect host and communication both before and after our stay was excellent. The room was big and gave us loads of room. Cannot recommend The Notus Hotel any higher. If in Chania, go and stay in Manolis lovely Hotel!

The apartment is centrally located, actually just behind the Agios Nikolaos church, at the end of the Turkish quarter in a vivid neighbourhood, but in a quiet street. Rooms are spacious and thoroughly cleaned. Everything you might need is in walking distance. Restaurants, a bakery and options for breakfast are to be found on or around Splantzia square (3 minutes walk). On street parking is available, otherwise there is a public parking a few 100m from the apartment.

There is no attendant working at this hotel. You have to check yourself in which is locked and was confusing. The AC did not work in extreme heat and the owner first insulted us and hung up on us 3x and stated he would “not come to the hotel just to help us with the AC”. He did not provide sheets and we were instructed to look for it ourselves. Street parking was unavailable for several blocks. If he runs a business he should adjust his attitude and willingly help people!

We stayed at Notus Chania for 4 nights in July 2024. From the second we arrived, the owner could not have done more for us. From helping us with transport to the beach, tips on good restaurants and activities to try out nearby, and booking our taxi to the port, he was lovely and has outstanding customer service. The lady who cleaned our room left it spotless every day and was always so kind when we seen her. Their attention to detail and fantastic customer service was great and we would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone we know! Thank you so much!

Everything we needed in a great location in the old town. Spotless and with all the amenities you want - nice bathroom, fridge, Nespresso machine with pods and a lovely balcony. So easy to check in and the staff are lovely. Stayed with husband and 20yr old son, plenty of space for all of us.
