The hostel is well located next to lively street but the place is quiet. Staff is really nice

The girl in front desk is very kind and cute,I'm arriving late at 3am but she still open the door for waiting me. The room very clean,there is hot water for shower,water for drink. Location is very strategic,u can go to huangying sqaure. I will reserver again if I'm going to Changsha.

I can't say how good the location is overall, since I ended up not spending any time in Changsha except sleeping - it looked like the hostel was close to a lively walking street, but the hostel itself is in a quiet alley. While it was okay getting there, the hostel was a bit tricky to find, and arriving alone in the late evening was not very comfortable for a female travelers, since you have to pass through a dark and narrow alley. The room was okay, expected for the price, but the mattress was hard as bricks so I couldn't sleep well, it was too uncomfortable. The lockers for personal items had no lock (or if there was a way to lock the staff didn't tell me), so nowhere to store personal items, making the place unsuitable for a longer stay. Bathroom has only one sink, one shower and one toilet to be shared between 2 dorms, so the bathroom was not clean when I arrived at night and everywhere was wet, which was very uncomfortable.

The environment is good and the hostel is not far from the city. Very easy to go around and visit shops, museums and orange island. Also you got the opportunity to make friends.

Great location in the old town (which can also be a downside with a big suitcase on the pavement...) The host was so so nice, she offered me a bottle of water when I arrived and was extremely helpful, providing a map and some ideas where to go. The bed was comfortable, though a tad small for my 181cm-self. Could wash the clothes and the washroom is only shared with a second room only with women

I loved that hostel. Very friendly place, comfortable and clean. Perfect.

I would definitely stay here again! The ac is amazing, and the staff is helpful. Laundry is available for very cheap. The location is great— easy to get to everywhere by bus or train and many good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I was also able to make some friend in the area and from the hostel :) I ended up having a change in travel plans and preferred to stay here an extra night as opposed to somewhere else or get to my next destination early!

This place can be a little tricky to find as you will wander through some alleys to get there, but if you use the same path in and out, you should be fine. It's located very close to the walking streets and a short bike away from some of the attractions. The staff is nice and willing to help. The room I picked was a bit cramped, but the bed and washroom were clean. The washroom is quite small and interesting as the toilet acts as the shower drain, so I'm basically standing over the toilet as I shower. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Location was very cool, small alleyway to get to hostel. Room cleanliness was okay, however found lots of long hair in my new sheets! Only one bathroom on the floor but clean.
