Hotel di People's Square/The Mixc, Changchun

I had a terrible experience at Atour X Changchun Station: took an hour to find the hotel & the room was not ready at 5pm cause they allowed their members to check out at 3pm to 6pm. We went out to eat and came back 40mins later to check in but was told that they CANNOT accept foreigners. They canceled our room booking & told me to find another hotel. Immediately I chatted with Trip.com staff for help. Within 5mins she changed my booking to Yatai hotel :) we were happy staying at Yatai 👍

When checking in, I asked the front desk about the quietness of the room, and they assured me that it was the quietest place in the hotel. However, unexpectedly, the room had a false balcony, which was separated from the hotel corridor by only a partition. After checking in last night, I found that any slight movement in the corridor could be transmitted to the room, which was a great disturbance to rest and lacked the necessary privacy. Today, when my husband opened the invoice, the price on my side was 295 yuan, but the front desk insisted that it was 265 yuan. I was confused by the difference.

Personal overall feeling star rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 💰High cost performance. 🏠The hotel is in a prime location. There are supermarkets, restaurants, bus stops, etc. not far downstairs, which is very convenient. 🧑🤝🧑The reception staff has a professional and rigorous work attitude. The reception is warm and friendly. French citizens who enter the country without a visa only need to show their passports to check in quickly. 🚽The room is spacious, bright, clean and tidy, and separated from wet and dry areas. The interior and exterior decoration has the cabin style unique to extremely cold regions such as Northeast China, Northern Europe, and North America. The double-layer door can also play a role in warmth and sound insulation. The basic facilities are complete: passenger elevator, projection, air conditioning, shower, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, disposable and reusable slippers, water heater, tables and chairs, etc. Free mineral water. 💕Other things that may need attention or improvement: ♿️There is a small step at the main entrance, which may not be convenient for people with limited mobility and guests with large luggage. All in all, highly recommended and collectible! 👍🏿🤠

Booked 2 rooms . Staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs . Unfortunately 1 of the rooms have a strong smoke smell despite it being a non smoking room. We were not able to change rooms as it was a full house . The staff tried all ways to help remove the smoke smell through a perfume spray and an incense . The location is very centralised . Will come back again

Excellent location and service. This is a great place to stay for the night when you're traveling the next day. The metro station is right in front of the hotel and the train station is within walking distance (one stop direct line by metro). There's also a nice park in front of the hotel and the area is quiet and clean. The room was spacious and we got an upgrade for free. The bedroom was a bit cold during our stay (early October) as they hadn't turned on the heating yet. Everything else was pleasant and comfortable.

The hotel front desk service was very good. They took the initiative to take our luggage to the back door parking lot and upgraded the room. The facilities were also very good, with a smart toilet. The breakfast was very rich and delicate, and the chive box was especially delicious.

The hotel is in a good location, the room hardware is also very good, clean and tidy, the hotel service is also very good, especially the front desk manager Lu, the service is warm and makes people feel at home.

I came to Changchun again! This time I chose to stay at Bauhinia. I upgraded my room type twice. This time I was upgraded to a business suite. I am very grateful for the hotel's thoughtful service! Facilities: A very traditional old-fashioned hotel with dressing tables, ironing machines, scales, etc. Many current luxury hotels are not as comprehensive as Bauhinia. Hygiene: Bauhinia's hygiene must be praised. There are no water stains on the glasses provided, and there are no water stains on the mirrors and faucets in the bathroom. The hygiene standards are quite high. Although it is an old hotel, the linens are very new and hygienic, and customers will feel more at ease. Service: Bauhinia's service is really nothing to say. It feels like spending a little money to enjoy the service of a five-star hotel. Whether it is a request for delayed check-out or requesting water delivery, it can be met in time, which is great!

The overall supporting facilities are fully equipped with a laundry room, there are intelligent robots to help deliver meals, and you need to open the door to have refreshments in another room, small biscuits, tea bags, and disposable coffee cups, which are more intimate and cleaner than glass or ceramic cups. The bed in the room is a high bed, it is said to be one of the characteristics, the mattress is very comfortable. The toiletries in the hotel are light and advanced. It is very close to People's Square, Vientiane City, and there are mountains. It is a bus to go out. It’s okay to take a stroll at night and then boast about breakfast. It’s really good. The most praiseworthy thing is the hotel service. The service staff is super good and the room is very clean.

I stayed at the Hangzhou location twice this year and was blown away by the cleanliness and superior service there. So, as soon as I saw the name pop up while looking for a hotel in Changchun, I had to choose it. Notes: When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff and we were able to check-in early hassle-free. The room was clean, odorless, and there was even a window that we could easily open and close ( I’ve seen many other hotels with fake windows, haha). Breakfast was delicious!! There were many options (western and local). We definitely got a belly-full. We also stayed in the restaurant for hours just eating, talking and re-filling our plates. Really nice. We spent 2 nights and had to checkout at 5am on the last day. We were given takeaway breakfast boxes comprising croissants yogurt and fruit. Really convenient since we missed the tasty breakfast. There is a really nice restaurant close to the hotel called Yan Niu. They served local dishes along with some Korean dishes. Delicious!! The town area was about 10 minutes by didi. There were many stores, restaurants and parks in that area. All in all, it was a comfortable stay at the hotel. This was my third Hampton by Hilton stay this year. I hope that they will maintain this level of consistency.
