Hotels near Changchun Railway Station, Changchun

The environment is average, maybe a little old. It is very convenient to be near Changchun Station. There are train station and subway station right outside. However, the loudspeakers outside are a bit noisy in the morning if the windows are not closed. The service attitude is very good and it is easy to communicate if there are any problems.

The location is very convenient, track 1 and 3 to the surrounding pseudo-manchu Palace, Zoological and Botanical Garden, Changchun Film Studio are very convenient. Near the hotel, walk for about 5 minutes, you can take the ice and snow tour 2 bus to the ice and snow new world, 45 minutes 5 fare can be reached directly.

Booked 2 rooms . Staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs . Unfortunately 1 of the rooms have a strong smoke smell despite it being a non smoking room. We were not able to change rooms as it was a full house . The staff tried all ways to help remove the smoke smell through a perfume spray and an incense . The location is very centralised . Will come back again

The room was very clean. Only the voice system is very good. The hotel is in a very good location, right next to the south exit of the train station. The transportation is very convenient. The subway station is just outside the door, very convenient

Hotel location is so called near to train station but it is not so ”near” if traveller plan to walk with big bags because there is no lift access at the exit that is walkable to the hotel when exit from train station. Suggest traveller to check the exit properly so that you don't want too many ”extra”. Room was ok, though it was a corner room, and my booking though mentioned is 8th to 9th floor, I received a 7th floor room instead. Surrounding the hotel is few wholesale building of fashion, nails, etc. which is good for shopping.

The service of James Joyce Coffetel Hotel is really impressive, especially the beautiful lady, who is not only friendly, but also took the initiative to help me upgrade the room. It was an unexpected surprise! The room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable, which makes people sleep well all night. The hotel's coffee is also a highlight, with a strong aroma and mellow taste. A cup in the morning makes you refreshed. The overall experience is great, and the details reflect the heart everywhere. It is definitely worth recommending! Ulysses once said: ”Life is a journey. What matters is not the destination, but the scenery along the way and the mood of watching the scenery.” The time spent at James Joyce Coffetel Hotel is the perfect interpretation of this sentence. Whether it is the thoughtful service or the comfortable accommodation environment, people can feel the warmth and beauty of the journey. Looking forward to coming again next time!

This was our second stay in three days - both times because of the nearness to Changchun Railway Station - and again we enjoyed the excellent service (even if your phone runs out of battery, there’s a two day weather forecast on your desk together with water and snacks, s. photo), classic Chinese hard mattresses and pillows (good for our backs) and the history exhibits that remind guests of the fact this hotel was first opened in 1909 in this very building. This time, we did have time for their extensive breakfast buffet and it is indeed extensive: salad, various types of eggs, oats, fruit, cakes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese porridge (the local “hei mi” black rice is lovely), fried noodles, rice, steamed veggies and buns, toast, jam, various Chinese hot dishes, freshly made noodles, ….you get the idea. The only regret we had: they have a coffee machine - for instant coffee…. Lots of lovely teas, but only instant coffee, alas. You can’t beat their price, either: RMB 304 for a twin bedroom including two breakfasts and two vouchers for afternoon tea.

It's too cold. The only heating option is central air conditioning. It was 22° all night and it was noisy. I was so cold that my whole body ached😣😣😣😣. The air was cold🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶I didn't see any heating or floor heating. Air conditioning in the Northeast is basically useless in winter. It's so cold😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤The front desk sent a warm baby🥰 which is quite heartwarming❤️. Thanks to the handsome and beautiful girls at the front desk. The temperature of the hotel must be improved.

Excellent location and service. This is a great place to stay for the night when you're traveling the next day. The metro station is right in front of the hotel and the train station is within walking distance (one stop direct line by metro). There's also a nice park in front of the hotel and the area is quiet and clean. The room was spacious and we got an upgrade for free. The bedroom was a bit cold during our stay (early October) as they hadn't turned on the heating yet. Everything else was pleasant and comfortable.

Stayed for 2 nights twin room June 24. We could not fault this place. Super comfortable and quiet. Staff exceptional. Location spot on. 10+ mins walk from Renmin Square subway station on line 1. Cross the road at the lights from the hotel, Chongqing Hu Tong has lots of places to eat. Walk a little further north to Chongqing Lu for a big shopping centre. The best thing about this hotel was the great value. Gets 5 stars for amenities for dyi free laundry. Highly recommend
