Hotel Desiree

We stayed 2 nights, a nightmare. Rooms not soundproofed Uncomfortable beds and low pillows Point this out to the owner and he says that you are used to sleeping badly. Terrible breakfast. No water even though you asked for it, undrinkable cappuccino from the machines and we always had a stomach ache. There were many of us and we all felt bad. In the room the water came out from under the toilet and there was no hot water. I think the owner has some memory problems.. our reservation could not be found even though it was made with Mirabilandia. There are many hotels nearby, go elsewhere.

Sono stati una settimana fa in vacanza. Andrea e la sua famiglia mi hanno fatta sentire come in famiglia!! È il secondo anno che vado da loro e mi sono trovato benissimo!! Cucina più che ottima colazione buonissima!! Grazie per la bella vacanza...

Il nostro soggiorno è stato caratterizzato da una cortesia e gentilezza davvero encomiabili, la gestione è familiare ed il trattamento che riservano ai loro ospiti è lo stesso che si riserva ad un membro della famiglia, sempre disponibili ed attenti. Camere pulite e funzionali letti anche comodi. Molto buona la posizione vicina al mare. Complimenti e grazie di tutto!

We arrived after noon and found a handwritten sign on the entrance door asking us to call cell phones because the door was locked. When they let us in, the lady told us the owner was taking a nap and that she was somewhere else, so that's why they had to keep the door closed. That's already a bad start. Then they gave us a family room (we were traveling with my husband and three children, ages 4, 6, and 8) with a double bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed. The top bed folded down against the wall. To get up, you had to put an iron ladder with an iron spike that was wedged into the structure, which was extremely dangerous since it wasn't stable at all. Considering we were traveling with small children, it was even more dangerous. Upon arriving at the room, we ran into the cleaning lady in the hallway with a shopping cart full of sheets to iron, with the bathroom door open because the poor lady, who was ironing sheets, couldn't stand the heat in the ironing room and had the cart right in the guest hallway. Just then, the owner appeared and rudely told our children not to make a mess in the room, even though we were just opening the door. The place has air conditioning, but they charge for it separately, which we thought was in very bad taste, not because of the cost, but because it was the height of the summer. After some inconvenience, we switched rooms to two rooms (which was what we had paid for). I stayed in a three-bed room with the children, and one of the beds wasn't even made; it only had a bedspread and no sheets! We had to sleep in two beds. The infamous air conditioning makes an unbearable noise that keeps you from sleeping. As if that weren't enough, the bathroom doesn't even meet the standards of a 3-star hotel, measuring less than 4 square meters. The shower is practically nonexistent, as it has folding shutters that make the toilet unusable when closed. The bathroom is completely wet and has no slip resistance. The common stairs have filthy carpet, and there's hardly any staff to assist you. The owner's daughter or the owner is always alone, and as you can see from other reviews, he's very rude and can also be seen from his responses to comments left by other guests, both on this platform and elsewhere. Unfortunately, we're not the only ones, and worse yet, we won't be the last to have a horrible experience here. We had a reservation for 4 nights but only stayed for 1. The next day, we ran away from this place.

Ho soggiornato solo 3 giorni ma mi sono trovata molto bene con il proprietario ho subito simpatizzato ho conosciuto la moglie che è lei stessa che lavora in cucina e la figlia che serve in sala tutta la famiglia molto cordiale il cibo semplice ma genuino camera piccolina ma funzionale il bagno certamente un po' piccolo e scomodo per utilizzare il wc che è molto vicino alla doccia nel complesso lo consiglierei per piccoli periodi di vacanza buono il rapporto qualità prezzo

Camera adeguata alle stelle assegnate, inizialmente buono il cibo, ma se stai una settimana ti accorgi che gli avanzi riproposti oggi non sono di ieri, ma di 2 o 3 gg prima. Scomodo il sistema degli antipasti a buffet e scomodissimo il sistema delle colazioni con una sola macchina per 3 piani di albergo: quando finisce il caffè solubile, invece di fartelo dalla macchina del bar nella hall, il proprietario che ti dice "fatevi l'orzo" è improponibile. Ottima la vicinanza col bagno convenzionato, ma parcheggio a 5€/dì, ma soprattutto aria condizionata a 3€/dì non si sono mai sentiti. Per non parlare del sistema che stacca la corrente alla camera quando si esce. Simpatico anche il sentirsi dare bellamente della truffatrice da 4 soldi per aver chiesto di pagare con bonifico. Mi è stato anzi detto che se non volevo usare il bancomat potevo andare a prelevare e pagare in contanti. Così mi sono potuta anche sentire presa per i fondelli. Globalmente buono se si riesce a non aver a che fare col titolare.
