Very good position in th city centre. Structure quite new well equipped. Very good breakfast and big space room. Nice stay suggest.

Very nice experience. Room was clean and towels were ready. Beds are a little bit higher than in the pictures but so comfortable. Cleaning service is excellent. You can give your clothes to wash for 10 euros per bag. Breakfast is included in the price and it is very good. Staff is always on service and polite.

This place is actually two hotels merged together - one is a bit newer and "fancier", the other is quite shabby and smelly (due to smells coming from the bathroom) - which is the main reason for giving them just two stars. Also, the beds are way to soft. The good thing is that it is very central, there is free parking, breakfast is decent and the service is nice.

It is right in the old town. If you drive, don't follow the GPS or the phone, it will get you around but not on the right street. Tried both. Just follow the instruction from the hotel and the blue signs pointing to the hotel, everywhere. You need to go through the lift up barricades, typical for European cities. Parking onsite, 13 euors. Hotel is very nice, but has two wings one for the hotel and one for the Hostel. It is very clean, the room looks small because the bed is big, thanks God. Washroom is good, good shower with lots of pressure and volume. Staff is excellent, breakfast is good, typical. See my pictures. I fully recommend this hotel.

Perfect location! Have to be ready that parking next to hotel might be full and thus trickier to get all family with baggage. A little pricey for Maribor and 3***. But room was spaceous, tidy, all nevessary amenities. Very good breakfast (except coffee).

This was my second visit to Hotel Orel. The 1st one was more than 30 years ago ( as a high school kid ) so I felt little nostalgia this time. The Hotel has excellent location just in the old part of Maribor. The rooms have been obviously renovated recently, everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is very good , they serve good coffee and ingredients are fresh. The staff were very polite and helpful, I needed a taxi ride and both of them called taxi and helped explaining. I would certainly come again to Orel since it’s location is probably the best in the city.

We found the hotel in a very central location for our needs. On arrival and throughout our stay were very polite and professional. The rooms were well appointed with all the usual extras you anyone would require Our stay included a hot and cold buffet and the standard of the food was good Overall the the price and amenities were very competitive If travelling to Maribor we would certainly stay there again

Hotel nel centro della città, ci si arriva in macchina seguendo le indicazioni fornite dall'hotel perchè è in ZTL, si parcheggia proprio accanto alla struttura. Una volta dentro, sembra di essere in un ostello ma le camere sono ampie, pulite e curate. Ottima la colazione compresa nel costo e cordiale il personale, da suggerire.
