French : Hôtel merveilleux le personnel est incroyable, on en plus on a eu la chance d'être surcalssé dans une suite magnifique avec un point de vue privé sur la mer. Petit déjeuner excellent le meilleur que j'ai gouté en sicile. Haut standing un vrai hotel de luxe. English: Wonderful hotel, the staff is amazing. We were even lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with a private sea view. Excellent breakfast, the best I've had in Sicily. High standard, a true luxury hotel.

The setting of the hotel is the main selling point here. Gorgeous coves to go swimming and a lovely reef club with direct water access for swimming. The staff are excellent too. Unfortunately the food and rooms are a let down. Our room was tiny and resembled a hospital bedroom with nice bedding. It had a very clinical feel and we really didn’t want to spend time in it at all. The food is very average. The cheese and ham toasted sandwich in the reef club was grim, I would make better at home myself. We had lunch in the reef club and the food was very average and the menu is very boring and unimaginative. Breakfast setting is lovely outside but again the food was very average and the coffee is awful. The staff informed us they use instant coffee and you can tell immediately. My poached eggs and bacon was very bad and overcooked. The quality of the ingredients certainly is not 5 star. The hotel also charge guests for use of the kayaks, paddle boards, sauna and steam room. There is no shuttle service to go into town despite a minibus parked outside the hotel. Overall we liked the location but the hotel needs to do better.

Text: Le Calette is a vast hotel complex situated on a hill above the sea, about 25 minutes walk from Cefalu. It consists of two parts: Le Calette N5 (which positions itself as a 5 start property - and merits each ray of these five starts largely!) and Le Calette Bay, a 4*, which is right next to it and shares all the facilities (the restaurant, the swimming pool, and, I assume, the beach - which was inaccessible during our stay in late April, as it is too early in the year and it was not open yet). We've spent 2 nights at Le Calette Bay (the 4* part of the property), and we loved it! We had a junior suite with a private terrace featuring a view of the little port and the bay. Although the room layout is somewhat questionable, meaning, the shower is separated from the toilet and washing basins, the room itself was spacious and clean, combining the traditional Sicilian style with cutting-edge facilities, such as a Smart TV where you could find all necessary information, from the room service menu to the messages from the reception. The pearl of the whole complex is the pool, which offers a fantastic view of the port, sunbeds and umbrellas, and a pool bar, where you can access the menu by scanning a QR code and order your drinks. Breakfast was delicious, various and excellent quality. All the staff of the complex, from receptionists to waiters and to massage lady, are smiling and friendly, everyone speaks English, some of the team members speak more languages, so there is no risk of communication gaps. Our favorite thing about this hotel was the beach deck. It was private and so relaxing. We had access to the water which was so refreshing. We were always able to find a spot and the beach beds were so comfortable. We were there anytime we were at the hotel even when the ocean was closed due to harsh conditions. The pool area was crowded. There are a lot of bees at this resort. We came for the outdoor jacuzzi room. The room was dated and hot. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was broken. We were moved to the main hotel, which is more updated and more like a regular hotel. We appreciated that. It had a nice balcony and a tub inside that was nice. Would stay again for the beach deck.

We enjoyed the stunning scenery, clean, fresh and beautiful rooms and breathtaking grounds. The pool was refreshing and the ability to swim in several different places throughout the resort was divine! The sea is steps from your room, the mountain views are surreal. The service was top notch with a staff that wants to provide the utmost service with a personal touch. We attended a wedding on property and the property lent itself to the most beautiful event. It is an easy walk to town were you'll find wonderful restaurants and shops nestled in. Thank you to Derik, concierge, who assisted with scheduling an incredible private boat tour of beautiful Cefalu as well as a private hair appointment for a special occasion! The staff goes above and beyond in this gorgeous resort with beautiful views and grounds! It is a stand out in our travels. We cannot recommend this resort more!

My wife and 20 year old daughter spent 2 nights at Le Calette after spending our first few days in Taormina and we absolutely loved it. You quickly realize that the location is a gem with its own secluded bay however still very close (20 min walk) around the point to the charming town and busy beaches. What made me ensure to provide this review was that despite 2 days of pampering, great beach time, great meals and service, we found ourselves with a painful surprise when we went to pack up our rental car and move to our next stop. Our car had a large dent on one of the rear passenger doors. Fortunately it turned out I was at a resort where they truly do care and since we had not moved our car since we arrived we asked the hotel to help us as the prospect of paying a large deductible was going to dramatically sour our experience. All I can say is that the hotel GM was fantastic to deal with and helped us turn a negative into a positive. We’ll be sure to stay at this resort next time we’re back in Sicily as we stayed at several that were luxury but it’s always the attention to detail and service experience that sets the great ones apart.

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel I've ever been. Stayed one night with my wife and we had a lot of fun. It is romantic and calm. The hotel has amazing service as well. The breakfast and dinner are delicious and the prices are great. There is a beach and an area in the middle of the rocks that you can swim. There are also kayaks and paddles to enjoy in the ocean.

Great hotel in all respects. Beautiful setting, gorgeous views, nice rooms with balconies or terracies, delicious outdoor breakfast in the amazing setting. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. It is a 20 minutes walk to Cefalu or a a short taxi ride. This might be a small inconvinience for some but not a big deal comparing to all advantages this hotel offers.
