MCR was hands down the best Cuban resort I’ve been to! Good food, beautiful grounds, gorgeous beach, wonderful room (the first resort I’ve been to anywhere where my clothes didn’t smell musty upon arriving home too), bugs are minimal, amazing and helpful staff. Only 15 minutes from the airport!! Can’t wait to return!!

Perfect holiday experience. Just one thing bothered us. The lobby area was not visible marked or signed as non-smoker area. It really bothered us as we could not enjoy the fresh beach breeze because of all the cigar smokers lingering all over the lobby bar area. Overall, everything else was great.

Over all great experience. Had lots of fun. The resort was very nice. The kids had fun. Lots of different food choices. The animation crew was fantastic, very nice and Dynamic energy!❤️ The shows were very nice as well. Great trip! Recommend. Angela,Canada

We stayed here with three rooms and, unfortunately, had a very bad experience overall. The only redeeming thing about this hotel is the beach, which is lovely. Other than that, nothing worked, and the service was extremely poor. One of our rooms had a broken AC that was never fixed. Coffee makers didn't work. We also had major toilet issues that took 5 days to resolve, even after telling the staff over and over. The in-room telephone line didn't work either, which I repeatedly told them was a safety issue (not just a convenience thing, since there’s also no Wi-Fi in the rooms to use as backup). Even after the manager promised it would be fixed, it was still broken on the last day. That shows there’s no integrity or follow-through. Worse yet, housekeeping staff stole items from our room. Future travellers, please be careful and hide your belongings! Service was hit or miss. Some guest services staff were helpful, but others showed an attitude when we asked for assistance. Be prepared to keep complaining about issues or they simply won’t help you at all. It’s really a shame because the natural surroundings and landscaping are beautiful. But the hotel itself is in terrible shape with so many problems that are just ignored. Definitely not worth a 5-star rating in its current condition. Bottom line: Great beach but the hotel is awful. If you decide to come here, be prepared for lots of frustration and to keep fighting for basic things to work.

Every time I travel to Cuba I stay at this hotel. I can say there was a huge improvement since the last time I was a guest there. Is was impressed by the fact that there were no flies at the buffet. The facilities were immaculate. You can tell the management there is on top of things ensuring the guests are well taken care of. The Level was top of the line on terms of service. There was a 24 hours service available which we appreciated. The servers were friendly and very efficient. Specially Dannier, who made us feel like home. The beach had a bit of seaweed, but those are natural effects of global warming we can't control. They cleaned the beach a few times a day and that was all I could ask for. Wilber at the beach bar was entertaining as usual. He is a show you cannot miss. Kiki's bar you should not miss. The food is to die for, fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the international a la carte restaurant. It was clean and the music was perfect. The guitarist was a great musician. Luisa, the server, was attentive and professional. I loved it. I am coming back for sure.

Just returned from a memorable stay at this resort and couldn't be more pleased. From start to finish, the service, cleanliness, and comfort exceeded expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy our stay. Excellent food choices and places to eat. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway.
