Hôtel du Parc Cavalaire Sur Mer

Wonderful 4 stars hotel in Cavalaire sur mer, located at 10 min by walk to the beach. Recently renew structure with big and comfortable rooms, good quality/price, nice pool and tennis court, free parking. Everything was new and with design fornitures very elegant. The breakfast is a little expensive: 25€ per day per person, the rooms aren’t well sound proof as we can hear voices and tv of other rooms, and this could be a problem if you are sleepless, otherwise there could be a shuttle service from the beach.

This was our second visit this year and we've been many times before. They have done a wonderful job of the renovations, we love the new ground floor rooms with sun terrace. Walk in showers an added bonus. The hotel has a light bright airy feel. It's in a quiet location but only 10 minutes from the bustling beach and about 20 minutes walk into Cavalaire. So it seems like you are in the countryside of Provence but yet you're at the beach. Quiet tranquility but close to the bustle The best is the heated pool, it's a perfect size with comfortable sun beds. Fabienne the director is very attentive to the guests. We enjoyed a lovely set menu on one of our evenings on the lovely terrace overlooking the gardens and onto the sea in the distance. At the beach are many well run restaurants. We will be back and miss it already.

The cleaners left a large bottle of detergent and a large cloth sitting on the bench in my room, behind some of my clothes, so I left it on the side in the corridor. The cleaners also took a colourful plastic plate of mine to the kitchen (thinking it was the hotels/ no problem/ just that's what happened - the reception staff found it in the kitchen). The internet is very weak (quite slow) on the 3rd floor and goes off quite a lot as well (with a wait of several minutes to return). In the week, there was very loud, relentless, construction noise (someones house and also roadworks), coming from outside the hotel grounds - it lasted 2 days. The bathroom shower and basin tap are the same design, but each one moves the opposite way from the other, which I suggest is the plumber's fault + The basin taps blue, is hot, and the cold is red - again, a plumber doing a hasty job perhaps. The basin plug does not push down, so you cannot fill the basin (for a shave or whatever). The shower runs hot and cold a bit, whilst you're having a shower, but not in an overly dramatic way that you suddenly have to jump out of the flow of the water. On my final night, the room's air system failed - it stopped working and couldn't be re-started (a bit unsatisfactory/ I didn't sleep so well). I loved this hotel - its location, facilities and very friendly staff. They are still spending money to improve it more and more/ apparently the pool area will be updated next (although it is pretty nice as it is), and there were various landscaping / gardening projects going on quietly, when I was there. The tennis court is in great condition and I would have played if I was here with someone else. The bed is very comfy / the room is well appointed and the view is magnificent. There is plenty of free parking on their grounds. The ladies at the reception are very friendly, charming and helpful (they speak perfect fluent English). - I had a nice chat on the day I left / she gave me several tips and written info, on what to see in Marseille and near Marseille, as that's where I was headed next, which was very kind. Cavalaire-Sur-Mer is a piece of French med paradise, with nice restaurants close by, a very long beautiful fine sandy beach (5 min walk) with no seaweed or little pebbles, and the sea is a crystal clear turquoise colour, with some happy fish that I saw with my goggles on! (Early) June is a good time to visit - there weren't any crowds and the sea is a nice temperature - refreshing/ perhaps 21 degrees, or 24 degrees, walking out on a long/ wide higher sandbank (it's just to the left side, from where the hotel is positioned). I may return one day.

Quiet, beautiful and well cared for. Far away enough from the busy main road to be peaceful, but only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach which has the vibe of being "off the tourist path". Make time for relaxing walks along the surf and not fighting crowds and noise. The hotel staff was very attentive. The rooms are smallish but very clean and provide all that is needed. Our balcony view absorbs the beauty of the hills while keeping the coveted view of the sea. Our dinner and breakfast were both delicious and well served. So make your way here to learn to breath again, away from the hectic world!

Newly renovated and stylish hotel in the most quiet and beautiful part of the Riviera, a short walking distance to one of the best beaches and plenty of hiking trails around. The hotel is situated outside Cavalaire in green and quiet surroundings.

So I have a little story I’ll try and keep it short. When I had my daughter, over 19 years ago, my husband gave me a ring as a gift. I don’t wear this ring all the time, but took it to France when I went a couple of weeks ago. My friend and I spent one night (Sunday) at the Hotel du Parc, at Cavalaire Sur Mer. The room had a safe, so high up I couldn’t see what was inside, but I still used it. Came back from France, and the following Sunday (a week later) I went to wear my ring and suddenly realized I had left it behind. To be honest I thought that was it… my ring was gone. A chambermaid, or indeed a subsequent next guest could have found it, and taken it. A piece of jewellery is the easiest thing to take. And quite frankly, it was my mistake to have left it behind. Nonetheless, I e mailed the hotel and asked them to check the safe (which I had left open on departure). I wasn’t very hopeful. A couple of hours later, they got back to me telling me they had found my ring! I admit I cried when I read it. How honest. There is still honesty in this World ❤️ I sorted out collection by DHL and have just picked it up. Apart from being a valuable ring, its sentimental value is ten fold. How lucky am I? I am truly truly grateful to the amazing team at this lovely hotel ❤️ Apart from this amazing experience, the hotel is peaceful, the staff were helpful and pleasant and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was great too. I highly recommend staying here Thank you to everyone at the hotel, I am so grateful
