They refused to check-in us the accommodation after 11 pm, even though the stay was paid for. The arrival of our plane was at 23:15, there was no helpfulness or agreement on the part of the accommodation. The information that the reception is only until 5 pm they sent us from the accommodation one day before arrival (yes, somewhere hidden in the conditions, I read it later), so we wanted to cancel it in time, but the hotel refused to cancel or shorten the reservation by one night. € 686 was paid for 3 nights and the conditions are that if you do not board the first day, they take it as a no-show and cancel the entire stay. The hotel wrote that if we do not arrive by 11 pm, we do not have to go the next day. Reluctant, thieving behavior, they left our € 686 for nothing, never again. When I complained to ***********, the owner of the accommodation later wrote to me that I was a bad person and I was producing evil ... I do not recommend !!!!!!!

Giovanni made our stay in Catania so much more pleasant, he is such a nice host and very helpful if you have any kind of questions, don't hesitate to ask him. The Moresco hotel is so charming, spacious, clean and well located, a few steps away from the center. Highly recommanded!

Ordinary on the outside, but wonderful inside. Our room was large and very well furnished and decorated - no expense spared. They also have a shared lounge which is delightful. The shared kitchen is looked after very well - everything looks brand new. We enjoyed having our lunch there when we had the place to ourselves. Only downside was the “Covid” do it yourself breakfast - hopefully that will change soon. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. It’s very convenient for the centre of town, the cathedral being about 5 minutes walk away. Same for the bus station, where you can get the Alibus to the airport. Parking was easy, either for free outside or for more space the car park by the bus station. We had a lovely stay.

Sono stata in questo meraviglioso hotel in occasione del Capodanno. È stato veramente comodo perché a soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla cattedrale dove abbiamo assistito al concerto in piazza del Duomo. La struttura è veramente pulita e comoda e non parliamo poi dei letti sono grandissimi 2 metri per 2 con materassi molto ma molto comodi... infatti, il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo abbiamo chiesto il marchio per acquistarlo per la nostra casa, Giovanni il proprietario oltre ad essere una persona estremamente disponibile e gentile ci ha spiegato che si tratta di un marchio italiano di nome Dorelan molto famoso per via delle forniture fatte alle più grosse compagnie di navi da crociera come la MSC e la Costa. Infine, uno speciale ringraziamento al personale che con la loro gentilezza ci ha saputo coccolare. Noi possiamo solo raccomandarlo.

È un posto veramente particolare e originale. Quando si è accolti in un confessionale da chiesa trasformato in scrivania con angolo pc, devo dire una reception assai originale. Questa idea e molte altre presenti in questa struttura, sono dovute all'estero del proprietario una persona sicuramente affascinante e carismatica. Ci ha accolto con un delizioso liquore siciliano il Limoncello, poi è stato prezioso per i suoi consigli su ristoranti, spiagge e gite nelle città adiacenti come Noto e Siracusa che abbiamo visitato. Inoltre, la posizione è ottima in una strada che a prima impressione sembrava periferica ma poi appena compreso dove ci si trovava non potevo sperare di meglio, a soli 200 metri dalla cattedrale e dal caotico mercato del pesce e la famosa via Etnea, insomma eravamo in centro ma la strada tranquilla fungeva da filtro per il caos cittadino. Oltre che consigliarlo, sicuramente torneremo.

Buonasera, ho scritto una recensione il giorno 09/09 sul TripAdvisor. È stata pubblicata insieme le foto che ho fatto in albergo( il tappetino sporco rotto, colazione scadente e le formiche)non so per quale motivo è stata cancellata. Tutto ciò,il proprietario Giovanni dopo letto la recensione, ha preso impegno di mandarmi un massaggio vocale sul mio numero privato è che controllo la privacy.dicendo sono una bugiarda e non capisco sono i mobili antiquariati e che sono abituata con i mobili di Ikea ecc… volevo chiedere questo signore di avere più umiltà e onestà di accedere anche le critiche dai clienti? Invece di fare lo stalker?

Collocato al secondo piano di un palazzo storico,il B&B ha alcune stanze di varie tipologie.Siamo stati accolti da un ragazzo gentile,ma francamente una figura troppo casual. Abbiamo dormito in una “junior suite”,le dimensioni ok,ma la stanza era piena di ogni tipo di oggetto,tutto piuttosto fanè,un po’polveroso. Il tappeto in bagno era sporco,abbiamo trovato anche delle formiche. La colazione improbabile,metà nella stanza,un po’ di cose in giro per il B&B,merendine nella plastica,affettati sotto vuoto ecc. Inoltre nella struttura non c’è mai nessuno,non abbiamo neanche potuto bere un caffè perché non siamo riusciti ad azionare la macchina. Il tutto per 265€ Francamente il valore dell’esperienza non avrebbe dovuto superare le 70/80€ al massimo. Inoltre al nostro arrivo ci hanno detto di lasciare l’auto in strada,quando sul sito era specificato che c’era il parcheggio gratuito (era in strada appunto!) Mi spiace sempre lasciare recensioni negative,ma è giusto non prender in giro le persone facendo pagare cifre assurde per ciò che viene realmente offerto.

Ci siamo stati due notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il B&B è a 5 minuti dalla via Etnea. All’esterno la zona è poco curata ma l’interno della struttura è curatissimo. Tutto pulito e accogliente. Il proprietario molto gentile e pure il collaboratore Adriano. Colazione possibile in camera o nel locale comune. Bellissima esperienza !
