Nadia and Henry have been amazing hosts. I stayed for 4 day in their palafito, which used to belong to Henry's grandparents. They take great care of it with love and pride. Every guest is hosted in a small but cozy room with nice window on the beautiful surrounding. The bathrooms are shared and very clean. The common area is just lovely, with the typical wood-fire stove that they use to cook, heat the place and dry the laundry. Breakfast is abundant and prepared by them on the spot, so they make you start the day with a positive attitude. I enjoyed sharing this house with this wonderful couple and their guests, it is loek being invited by friends and everybody felt at home. Great conversation and stories get told around the table, and laughters are always abundant. One cannot ask for more than this for a real chilote experience.

Definitely the best place we have ever stayed at! Emilio y Ester's Palafito is a unique and beautiful, charming, clean and cozy place. We loved eating breakfast by the wood stove in the kitchen with the other guests, and the hosts (Nanny and Henry) were beyond accommodating and kind. Truly wonderful people. Easy to communicate with, and the place is well located - such a beautiful home on the water. Incredible and unforgettable! Absolutely recommend this timeless palafito for the best, authentic experience in magical Chiloé.

Palafitos Emilio y Ester is a quaint house with a lot of character and history that the current owners Naddia and Henri are proud of, and love to share with their guests. Good amenities like tasty breakfast, strong wifi, and plentiful hot water round up the personal care and attention shown by the owners.

Amazing experience, Nanny and Henry are the best hosts. They welcome you into their home as a friend and help you enjoy your visit to Chiloe. My visit coincided with Henry’s birthday, and he invited another guest and me to his birthday asado. He and Nanny treated us like old friends, and some of the other guests at the asado had been previous guests at the palafito, who, after staying with N&H, moved to Chiloe! The four days I spent visiting Chiloe were the best part of my one month trip through Chile, and large part is due to my awesome, authentic experience at Nanny and Henry’s palafito!

Emilio und Ester sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die sehr bemüht sind ihren Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Das Häuschen wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Die Lage ist perfekt. Sehr zentral und im Umkreis sind zahlreiche sehr gute Restaurants.

Un lugar mágico y encantador. Henri y Nani son lo más. Cada parte del palafito está lleno de detalles que lo hacen cálido y confortable. La cama súper cómoda. El desayuno es lo más, todo rico, el pan calentito, en un ambiente siempre cálido. Dan ganas de volver.

Nuestra experiencia con Nani y Henry fue increíble, como si nos conociéramos de siempre. Encontramos exactamente lo que fuimos a buscar, calidez, hospitalidad, cariño. Gracias chiquillos (como dicen ustedes) por abrir su corazón, sus historias, su casita con tanta historia. Eternamente agradecidos de haberlos conocido y que nos haya dedicado tanto tiempo de charlas y comidas!
