Our flight delay meant we arrived late, only to find our room key didn’t work. We—along with our children—were left standing in the hallway for 20 minutes at 1 a.m., unable to access our room. Earlier, during check-in, we were rather aggressively warned that if we attempted to leave the hotel after 11 p.m., we would be questioned by security—this was said to us at 12:40 a.m., no less. Completely unnecessary and frankly inappropriate. The bar, which also serves as the check-in desk, was overwhelmed. After waiting 10 minutes for a drink, I anyone because staff were too busy managing check-ins due to issues with the self-service system. All in all, a poorly managed experience from start to finish. I won't use this hotel next time
