One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

We stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful resort. The property was stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. The entire staff was amazing and accommodating to all our needs. We also had massages by Concetta, would highly recommend. With the winery across the street it is the perfect location.

Gorgeous location and accommodations, we only stayed one night. Wish we could have stayed longer since this was one of the prettiest places we've been. Overlooking the vineyards with Mt. Etna in the distance was very special. The included breakfast was excellent with homemade cakes. Having wine in the winter garden was such a treat after a long day. It was too cool in April, for us to use the pool, but the setting was gorgeous.

We booked only one night into this property between our Mt. Etna and Taormina stops. We wanted to stay in the Northern Etna wine area and do some tastings. We were immediately impressed with the hotel and with Vincenzo who greeted us. The weather was cool and cloudy and so we were not able to make the most of the magnificent pool and grounds. However the room, the bathroom, the breakfast and our wine tasting more than made up for it. Vincenzo could not have been more helpful even offering suggestions for dinner in Taormina with him making the reservations. If you are coming in warmer weather, this is a great place to stay a few days so that in addition to day trips you can relax and enjoy the hotel. Do the wine tasting! We did the 4 glass with tasty treats but also heard people raving about the tasting and lunch.

Exceptionell service, hospitalities and location, lovely setting in the vineyards with beautiful look over Etna. Everything is quite new, the sauna was great, infinity outdoor pool is a great refresh afterwards. The breakfast was great, no wishes were unfilled. The staff was super nice, especially Vincenzo made us feeling very welcomed! Will definitely come back.

Big Grazie to Serena and Team Cottanera who made our 3 night winter stay wonderful, for our family of four. They were exceptionally accommodating, gave great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit, and they put out a delicious breakfast spread. Rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable. The wine tasting session and vineyard tour by Patricia was very informative and relaxing. Once again big thank you to the team and we hope to be back again!

Un posto meraviglioso Pace e tranquillità immerso nei vigneti Ogni cosa trasmette storia e passione dei proprietari che hanno creato un resort bellissimo Il personale gentile e cortese, la signora che prepara le torte per la colazione ci ha coccolato e viziato La camera molto ricercata come tutta la Struttura Sicuramente ci ritornerò Grazie per i momenti che ci avete fatto trascorrere

Tanti gli aspetti molto positivi: Reception impeccabile; Camera ampia e molto pulita; Parcheggio privato; Ottima la Spa e la piscina compresi nel costo della camera; Colazione e servizio strepitosi! Migliorabili: Il parcheggio è su pietrisco ed è molto polveroso: ho chiesto una spugnetta per le scarpe ma non era disponibile; L’ insonorizzazione della camera è veramente bassa: si sentiva distintamente la conversazione proveniente dalla camera adiacente (e non parlavano ad alta voce…). Non c’è TV in camera (per me un plus) ma in questi casi, accendendola, avrebbe aiutato (ho, comunque, acceso musica dallo smartphone…). Necessario avere un veicolo al seguito perché, per fortuna, è lontano da tutto. Rimpianti: la cantina era prenotata per un evento privato ed è stata la prima volta in vita mia che pernotto in una struttura del genere senza aver potuto degustarne i vini nel loro contesto di origine (che, peraltro, conosco e sono ottimi!). Comunque parliamo di una struttura di grande fascino!
